Anybody replace the bumper guards on winch bumper?

Anyone attempt to replace the long bumper guards that come on the winch bumper with regular length guards? Possible? Cost? What's involved? Thanks in advance.

It's very cheap and easy.

You just drill out the two plastic rivets and pop them out, it's just some clips molded as part of the cover holding them in. There is a good chance you'll break the clips. You can order the shorter plastic pieces, and I want to say they are only like $16-20 each.

Underneath is a crush can extension that's held on with a couple screws. just undo those and take of the extension.

Snap new plastics on and install new plastic rivets. DONE
