Strange that in the 3 pages and 43 posts no one has mentioned the pros and cons of 2 door capability on the trail.

I do understand the OP was not asking for that purpose but geez, I cannot see why most owners would get a Jeep for anything other than it's off highway capability.
more maneuverable. Less stable. Better break over angle.

Two out of three of our Family Wranglers are 2 doors. They are the real thing, no regrets.........

No regrets, it's so easy to get around, turn around. Its like driving a 4x4 go kart. If you plan on doing long road, overlander trips and/or have kids then I would consider a 4 door.

its more maneuverable than anything except my 73 bronco.

easy to get into and out of parking spots.

toddlers up to teenagers, OK vehicle, they self move, older or younger, no go. Sold a full size bronco because two little car seat bound kids, impossible in snow country.

Small dogs, old dogs? No go, one reason im going back to unlimited, old pooches.

Shopping trips? meh, always back end two step to load and unload. Side rear door no brainer.

I can put a 4x8 sheet of plywood on top of an unlimited, no go 2 door. Which then made it hard to convince wife we needed a pickup.

It is a hoot to drive, a little more squirmy over bumps at speed, but recovers fine.

Let's keep it simple:
No but Hell No regrets buying a 2-door!
Loved my '20 JLR so much I bought a '24 JLR-X 😁
That's what I'm looking at but they're all v6 and I preferred the 2.0 during test drive. However the color I want is not available in Earl Gray in MY25

Is that prohibited? Was also half hoping OP had found a solution.
Na, it's fine. It's a valid topic.

Click on the theme song at the bottom of the post of @autotragic and you'll see that he's just giving you a good natured hard time.

No regrets, the 2 door is so much fun and not entirely impractical.
We have a WK2 and KL TH for days we want more practicality but the 2 door is way more fun, far more manoeuvrable- it will literally run rings around the KL.

When the land border finally reopens we’ll point the JLR at the PCH with the rear seat removed and the military case to keep our luggage away from grabby hands.

I guess we double downed on the 2 door thing having ditched a WK2 for another JLR and triple downed on the JL thing by ditching the KL for a 4xE JLR. Of course, the 2019 JLR has remained and continued down it’s modification path.

Don't get me wrong, I love my 2-door... but lately I've been eyeing a 6 door...
