All track bar reinforcement bracket options

Thanks. We can add this to the list of small, running changes that Jeep made — but did not announce — for the 2024s.

Yep, there was a post on here or on the gladiator site that showed a pic of the interference area, but I can't find it.

My decision was easy since I have a 2024 and AFAIK only steersmarts has released a compatible version. Install was a bit of a pain to get everything lined up, but I'm happy with it. I did not install it for the steering box primarily, really wanted a track bar reinforcement. My only gripe is that I ordered the brace and their track bar at the same time... Why in the world would they not just include 9/16" bolts? I had to order afterwards, pay shipping, redo some work, etc.... feels like a miss to me...

Did you have to trim that extra metal piece welded to frame near the lower bolt on the right?

negative, the 2024 model seems to account for it.

really? that's definitely strange. My 21 is the "old" style and I've had the metalcloak on there for a couple years. Works great for what it is.

Installed steer smarts track bar bracket. Very beefy. Trimmed the extra metal plate. Heavy duty bolts. What’s even better is No Logo!

If I recall correctly, all of the 392s had the extra metal but it only started showing up on the other models in 2024.

Just an update, since the install of this bracket, I've driven 50 miles and today I had to center the steer wheel. It was at 11 o'clock.

My jeep was driving well and I had no steering issues before, this bracket is just for reinforcement. And I can't tell much of a difference, the steering may a bit tighter, no regrets.

To be honest, the gains are less from tighter steering than reinforcement to the trackbar bracket which gets ripped of when the jeep is used properly
