Is your aftermarket steering stabilizer noticeably better than the factory stabilizer?

Which stabilizer did you install?

AEV. No. It is not. I am 100% certain the only real solution to our shitty steering is PSC.

I should add that I used a Synergy stabilizer bracket to get it rotated and tucked away from potential damage. I am advocating that is better than other aftermarket stabilizers as I don’t have experience with those on a Jeep. I do really like the ride improvement of this one though.

Have Falcon adjustable and non-adjustable stabs in two and remained stock in my 392. They noticeably soak up the big jarring bumps like expansion joints better.

I was considering an upgrade, I've read about roadmaster, Falcon, Fox, Bilstein. Some say Roadmaster & Falcon were good. I'd prefer one that mounts like the factory stabilizer but not many to choose from that seem to make a difference.

@dragoneggs how does it help when towing?
To be clear it is when I am towing my JLR behind my Class C RV. Less wandering and also if you are very careful you can backup for short distances (with a spotter) as it reduces the tendency to jackknife.

Here is a short video on it…

So can the Roadmaster be used just in general for everyday driving and off-road use also?

Oh absolutely! Mine has 5 Badge of Honor trails under its belt. Easy install and adjustment to get your Jeep tracking straight.

No. Save the money.
If your suspension geometry is dialed in and all components are in good working condition, factory one is more than adequate. If not, the steering stabilizer is only masking the issues.

Just my opinion.
$400+ for a fancy one, you are over halfway to a redneck ram.

I am not doubting that. Some Jeeps wander more than others from the factory.
If that is the case, spending money on steering stabilizer is barking up the wrong tree. Jeep already had a recall on the steering issue where they replace the stabilizer.. It solved nothing because that is not the root cause.
