I just installed this last night, and am quite impressed! https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07SL18T5R?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details

It is beefy, easy to install, inexpensive (less than $300), and it totally replaces the hinges with far more substantial ones! It accommodates up to a 37” tire with the stock bumper. Aligning the tailgate upon reinstallation took about half an hour, with my wife’s help. You can easily spend twice that amount on another kit that provides no more quality than this one does.

I’d Rather Talk Jeep’s!
Looks great! I wish I hadn’t added the Mopar reinforcement from the factory for $675. ?

What size tire did you mount and did you have to use a relocation bracket as well. Going to 35’s and am interested in this option.

Dennis, I mounted a 35x12.50; also, the system IS a relocation bracket AND a tailgate reinforcement. They say it will take up to a 37” tire, with the stock bumper. By the looks of it, I think it will take up to a 39” spare.

@Hohnan Dennis, also, when you install the original right rubber bump stop for the spare onto the new carrier, it doesn’t require an extension. The one on the left side, however, does require an extension. All I did was jam a 1” diameter cane tip/furniture leg tip into it, without PVC between the two. It fits perfectly as/is, and is firm against the tire.

Several reviews mention a pretty substantial gap being evident as a consequence of the hinge design on the Tyger product. Comments?

James, that was corrected, as can be seen in this photo from my install.

Also James, note in your photo, to the left of the hinge, the piece of foam has been replaced with foam-backed metal plates with the same finish as the rest of the carrier (see my install photo in previous post).
