My XR Mopar reinforcement creaked like a mother.
I didn't pay it much mind because I knew I'd be swapped it out for the Cavfab.
Cavfab=dead quiet with a 37.
Tons of guy run the Mopar unit w/o noise..I am sure it's just a loose bolt.

Did you ever get yours to stop making noise?
Yes, ended up finding 2 out of 4 torx screws just over finger tight. Backed off all 4, then snugged up. No more noise. Crisis averted.

Great news! Where were the screws? I just want to know so I can double check them when I take delivery of mine

Sure thing! First you’ll need to remove the spare tire for access to all 4. You’re looking for four torx screws, size 45, that are on the hinge brackets along the tailgate. Torque to 35lbs. Can’t miss them.

My bracket wasn’t aligned right from the factory and was rubbing on the top hinge. If you look close you can see the red paint gone. I loosened every bolt that would affect its movement, used a wood “pry bar” and prayed it to center and tightened it up holding it in place. Took it for a test drive and way, way less noise altogether.
