Do you like them? Do they reflect off the hood in your face? Getting ready to purchase as they are on sale. ThanksFlex era 4. Really bright. I have the amber covers on them now

Baja LP6 would be overkill IMO. LP4 would be good. I have LP9’s but they are not running as A Pillar. I have squadron pro as A pillarsHello, the board. I knew since I got my Willys that I’d eventually get some additional forward lighting, but I also knew I’d only want two A-pillar LED lights. No plan to put on a roof light bar or any bumper pods (I do plan to get Diode Dynamics rear hatch-hinge mount light bar for illumination to the rear). I do have the factory aux switches so I’m looking forward to being able to wire them into those and not install a separate switch.
Looking for personal experience from those running just A-pillar lights and what they’ve experienced. Since these are the only front-facing, they’ll have to serve as combo (spot/flood). I’m looking at KC Flex-Era 4s, Diode’s SS5s, and Baja’s LP6s. Night runs would be primarily USFS roads.
Thanks in advance for your input!
Thanks @dragoneggs - appreciate the input. What front bumper is that?Personally, I think the A pillar is perfect for ditch lights oriented that way. I’m a fan of Baja Designs and those are Squadrons. And LP4s on the front. More than plenty of light for me and no hood reflections. I’m not doing 80mph in the desert at night.

Wish that was the case for me - but when I almost smacked a deer I decided to go the lights on pillar in the tight roads that are wooded (didn't want to get a new bumper for that route) - they have been a blessing so far. It's not just based on "want" but on what one feels they need for their situation.Get them because you want them. The Stock JL LED lights are plenty bright enough for night runs.
