For sure on non hybrid. We have the 4Xe Rubicon, regen does most of the braking. Typically a plug in hybrid will never need brakes. My old work tow car C-Max had a 140k miles with original brakes and lots of pad left.

Comes in handy in California, we seem to have a preponderance of self absorbed rude drivers with no sense of spacing. 😂

I like that the ACC doesn’t let you tailgate . If someone does rear end me when someone cuts in front of me it likely would have happened ACC or not.

ACC works well in twisty mountain drives also. Up and down. I rarely touched the brakes when following someone.

Second that. Just did 7 hours each way San Diego to Flagstaff/Sedona and it made the trip seem much shorter. Jeep did a nice job programming the feature. If you’re going up or down a mountain it makes the ride sooo easy. Keeps your distance you hardly touch the brakes.

Could depend on weight distribution in the Jeep. Do you have a passenger or just a driver? Typically, 1# off isn’t noticeable while driving a full frame, solid axle 4X Jeep.

If you just fold your windshield down, problem solved. Being a smart ass aside, just try it on your next long trip, makes for a relaxing drive. For what it’s worth, I love the adaptive cruise, lane change warning, rear cross traffic warning and backup camera.
