Oh good. I started to get the impression off road pages was only available in the rubicon. Good to know it’s in the Sport with 7” upgrade. Probably no offroad pages with the standard 5” radio though.
Not sure on th 2019 but it wasn't like this on the 18 sport w 5inch radio

Did you order the 2.0 or 3.6? You also get Active Noise Canceling with the 2.0 if you get the 8.4" screen and Alpine.
Bring on the noise then, because I ordered the 3.6.

It's just amazing. I decided to go ahead and add the steel bumper...boom...another 1200 bucks. I need a loop thing for the bumper...300 dollars.....a low profile winch.....1200 dollars. What in the world does everyone in here do for a living?
I'm just a poor retired boy living on social security. That's why I had to pass on the cold weather group. Or because I've had heated seats before and am nice and warm without them. At least I think so, at my age I'm never sure.

I thought that also. Turns out it's not true. I asked Jeep Cares and they verified and confirmed with engineers and product specialist. Active Noise Canceling is only on the 2.0 Turbo with the 8.4" screen and Alpine. I thought they were wrong and they reconfirmed a second time that ANC is only equipped with the 2.0 with 8.4". Apparently the 3.6 has better noise vibration and harshness (NVH) qualities so it's not needed.
This whole time I thought I had it. Kinda upset

Not true. i have an early 2018 which obviously is a 3.6 with the 8.4 and it has the active noise cancellation. I know this because when I ran the battery down too far the ANC went crazy making popping sounds. I didn't know at the time what it was but it was confirmed that it was the ANC.

alright, thanks guys. I'll add it, too. Whew! almost as much as my first house I bought.
It's a Jeep, but it gets expensive. In the long run, you'll find that getting these options will be well-worth the money spent. I figured if I'm gonna go with a Rubicon, might as well load it up. I "eschewed" (take that, wordslayer) the steel bumper group since I knew I'd want aftermarket. My only regret was not getting the tow package, but I ended up getting the auxiliary kit separately. If you decide to get a TazerJL at some point, it has features that are compatible only with the 8.4. The money spent now ain't sh*t. A bunch of us have spent thousands on aftermarket mods. No trails of tears... just trails. Load up now, enjoy the benefits later.

I can't think of a clever dichotomy to use here, so I'll just say, sometimes it's better to have it and not need it, than need it and not have it.

If you haven't seen, you can track your build here. May The Force be with you.

Now the winch will be heavy and make the front of the Jeep squat lower than the back. You'll need a leveling kit to straighten that back up, but you might as well just do a lift since the cost are similar. But don't cheap out on the lift, get the good stuff otherwise you're just asking for trouble.
But that will leave you with a huge wheel gap though, and that will require larger wheels to fill that gap which you might as well do while you got your credit card out.
Of course you'll need a matching spare, but it's heavy so you'll also need the tailgate reinforcement kit.
Don't forget to regear your axles otherwise pushing those huge wheels at highway speeds is going to be a beast.
Remember your speedo will be off now, so you need a Tazer JL to correct that.
Those Aux switches that come with the tow package are going to really bother you if you don't have something plugged into them, so you'll need some lights and stuff.

See how expensive that winch got?

Not impressed. Not much there, when maneuvering off-road, attention is seldom paid to a display screen in cabin.

Disclaimer. I have them, came with Jeep I bought on lot.

you guys are not kidding. It's getting insane.

Used to do a lot of ATV'ing. I have a high dollar RZR and the line we'd always say is, "we are so stupid spending this much money buying a RZR because you could buy a jeep for this much." Well, this little lesson has proved that ideology was wrong.

I read a few months ago that the average purchaser of a jeep wrangler has an income of 100k. I'm now surprised it is that low.

Here are a few things to consider:

1) What upgrades CANNOT be installed aftermarket (without tremendous cost)
Locking differential, lower gear, radio...You can add locking differential later but they are very expensive. You CAN add an upgraded radio, but that would require a lot of effort to install the radio head unit, bezel, extra speakers, subwoofer and wiring. You would probably be paying for two radios: the one that's in the Jeep and the one that you just upgraded. Compare that to tires which you can upgrade to larger-sized when your first pair of tires wears out. it costs nothing to upgrade to a larger size because you already need tires.

2) Upgrades ordered through a custom order can now be financed into the cost of the Jeep.
So, instead if laying out $1,200 for a winch aftermarket (and still having pay for installation?), it would probably be cost effective to order it into the customization.

3) What is you level of "handiness"?
Can you rebuild a transmission? Or is changing the oil (or less), the extent of work you can, or to are willing, to do? If you can rebuild transmissions, then adding a locker later would be a piece of cake. If you've never touched a wrench (and you want lockers), then NOW is the time to do it. Adding things to your transmission is EXPEN$IVE and tedious work requiring a lot of specialized labor and tools.

4) Do you enjoy doing things yourself?
I personally get great satisfaction in the ability to add the accessories myself. I like opening up the boxes and looking through all the parts. Some people are NOT so inclined for lack of ability or interest.

5) Selecting from a larger set of accessories...
You can add a steel bumper through Mopar... BUT, is that the bumper you really want? Do you want to stand our with a unique bumper? Do you want one with a hidden winch mount, fog lights, and bull bar with light mounts? Do you want an "Angry eyes grill"? Check out Quadratec.com, rootonesix.blog, jcwhitney.com, etc

6) How difficult is it to install that part?
We already discussed ones ABILITY to install parts, but how diffiy is the installation of THAT PART? i.e parts such as a Hard Top, Fender Flare, Tire Cover, or even a bumper or tow hitch receiver may only require as little as FOUR BOLTS which fit into predrilled holes. You can even purchase tow wiring kits with pass through plugs that fit between the harness and brake lights.

7) Is the feature you want part of a "Feature Cluster"?
Sometimes the feature you want is only part of a "Feature Cluster". So, you can't order JUST the tow hitch receiver and wiring, because the "Tow Package" includes the aux light switches and larger alternator. You cant order just the blind spot warning in the mirrors, because the "cluster" requires the mirrors, the upgraded brake lights with sensors, and the mirror with built-in radar for emergency stopping. If anything, these features the ones that you want to add to your customized to order.

8) What are the pros and cons of the accessories?
Yes, you can put 37" tires on your rig, but be mindful that doing so will decrease your mileage and ride comfort. Putting a winch in a custom steel bumper on the front is great, but that's a lot of weight up front and may require shims in your suspention..

9) How often will you use these accessories?
Is the Jeep your daily driver!? Are the accessories just for looks?

10) Order some accessories now and some later.
Jeeps are THE MOST accessorized vehicles. You will no-doubt have lots of large brown packages arriving on your doorstep in the tests to come.

I hope this has given you a way to sort out your priorities and to figure out what you want and need. Please do be aware that unless you are going to the Moab on a regular basis, a Jeep is a very capable vehicle STOCK!

Bonus!
11. What accessories do you NEED?

There are many top 5 or top 10 features you should buy first. If you will be driving off-roadi in Rocky terrain, i would personally suggest true rock rails (such as the Ruby Rails) or a solid steel rail to protect your doors and quarter panels from rock damage. Please note that side-steps are usually NOT rated for protection. In fact, Jeep itself, RECOMMENDS that the owner REMOVE THE FACTORY INSTALLED SIDE-STEPS from Sahara trim level Jeeps BEFORE GOING OFF-ROAD TO AVOUA DAMAGE TO THE STEPS!
Another need example would be if you needed the ability to tow. You should consider whether it's worth it to you ordrer the package or install the components yourself . For me, I took delivery from the lot that day...The vehicle that I chose did not have the tow package. So, I added it myself with aftermarket parts.
Welcome to the Jeep family!

And
be sure to wave to other Jeeps...
It's a Jeep thing!

You need to learn to fish and cook road kill. The jeep will eat your paycheck.
