Chiming in here to add another 4xe to the list. Ours had fewer than 500 miles on it. Dealership took it in on Thursday and on Saturday stated that they needed a Jeep engineer to come in to look at it.

Took mine back in today. There were several software updates for the 4xe so some of you might want to stop in for a flash. Not sure that any solved the problem as they are still looking at it... They are getting some of the battery coolant errors so hoping I don't end up waiting for a replacement pump like others have.

Mine spent almost a week at the dealer two weeks ago. Was told a Jeep engineer was being sent to upload new software to it. I picked it up versus setting it sit there. No update last week about status of said engineer. Call in to Jeep Cares yesterday was complete waste of time. Complete.

I am just glad it isnā€™t cold outside yet. This issue is coupled with no cabin heat. Those of you who have never used your cabin heaters, you may want to check them for operation now. Iā€™m closing in on 4 weeks with this issue (took 1.5 weeks to get an appointment).

I know my issues are minor compared to others, but the response time is really souring me on Jeepā€™s reliability and capability to solve problems.

... and looks like I'll be driving a Compass for a while. Sahara 4xe needs a new battery coolant pump. There are none to be ordered. Any luck for those of you with the same problem? Apparently I now have a Star case (?) and they are trying to get me a nicer loaner but doubt it will be a Wrangler and September is a really nice month to have the top open around here. No complaints about the dealership (Pellegrino), they are doing their best to accommodate, but sad to have my brand new Wrangler out of service. @JeepCares - at what point do I escalate things?

@bondijoe
Yes. P0C74 is the DTC that ours had.
Two battery coolant pumps replaced and one on the vehicle that is still squealing.
Not getting a MIL any longer, but the battery range is now only 9-11 miles in Electric Mode before the P2 motor in the transmission overheats and tells me "Electric Mode Temporarily Unavailable". šŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļø Worked great for the first 649 miles.
Wish I had better news, but this 4xe is a problem vehicle.
Keep an eye on your Electric Mode battery mileage once your pump gets replaced. Dealers can't order the pumps. They are restricted and can only be authorized by the STAR technicians.
Best of luck to you.

Are you just living with it like that or still trying to get it fixed?

I'm still waiting on reply to my PM regarding dead electric AC compressor. No part availability (dealer had no clue as to when one will be sent) and stuck with a hot vehicle in Texas August heat. @JeepCares

Correct, but shortly after my radio died, the AC compressor stopped working/CEL came on, which is of course a much higher priority issue. 95F+ daily, 110+ heat index on a black vehicle is unbearable. Requesting some assistance in speedier delivery of replacement part/s.

270 miles and unfortunately adding our 4xe to this list today. Drove to work just fine on a full charge, used about 50% of the battery. Nice day out, mid 70s. Nothing abnormal.
Went to start it after work, dash gave me the christmas tree treatment. Service electronic stability control system error. Tried shutting off, opening & closing the door, starting back up, same condition. MIL, ESC disabled, and BRAKE lights illuminated regardless if E-brake was applied or released. Drove home fine, but Max Regen didn't work (button was illuminated as we normally drive with it on).
Got home, plugged it in for 20 minutes. Took it out again on an errand, this time only the MIL lit, all other lights and warnings gone.
Called the dealer to let them know, we're bringing it down tomorrow to have the codes checked out to see what the issue is. Wish us luck.

Update -
After an overnight charge, no MIL this morning. Took it to the dealer to take a look at the stored codes:
Circuit short to battery
Lost comms w/TCM
Lost comms w/HVAC Control Module
Lost Comms with Body Control Module
Lost Comms with ECM/PCM
Brake System Hydraulic Leak

Jeep drives fine, no apparent issues.
Dealer advised to continue driving as normal, if it happens again bring it back and they'll rescan. Currently thinking it was a fluke.

Second CEL for me with just about 2000 miles. First one was evap (gas cap issue). Took to dealer and they reset it and ran tests with no issue found. Now CEL on again a few weeks later @JeepCares . Going back to the dealer is really inconvenient. Is there any way to clear the CEL myself? Also autozones tool doesnā€™t work for 2021ā€™s.
