For those running 35s and 37s, have you calculated the MPGs before and after?

LOL yea. If you ever do though let us know. I'm sure it's better than previous generation Jeeps with the same tires and maybe even better than a stock Hummer H3. I do love how those tires look on the JL and just wonder how severe the MPG tradeoff really is.

There have been a lot of folks posting photos of their JL on 35s and 37s, can someone supply their actual city and highway mpg they are seeing with the new tires? I'm currently running a land cruiser on 34s getting 11.5 mpg on average.

All depends on MPH...I’ve done as well as 19.7 between 60-65...over 65 not so good. In town I’m getting 15.8..running 37KO2’s D rated on 17 beadlocks..31psi....100lbs/tire

It's gonna be a little difficult to give accurate fuel economy numbers until programmers are available to recalibrate the speedometer. Even though it's more accurate at lower speeds, the odometer is actually going to increment more slowly than it should. There's one programmer available right now, but it's overpriced and if I understand it correctly, requires the unit to be plugged in at all times. I'm waiting for AEV or Superchips to come out with one that'll work similarly to their JK versions.

Suffice to say, the JL rotates 35s and 37s with relative ease. The power loss is almost negligible thanks to the transmission and while city fuel economy does take a hit, highway isn't actually too bad. I can still get close to 20mpg on the highway up here at 6,000 feet above sea level if I'm not pushing it past 70-75 on my 35" KO2s.

The EPA estimates that manufacturers do is NOWHERE close to real world driving conditions. They are usually done at 55 mph so I'd be willing to bet that if you drive a tank full of gas on the highway at 55 mph that you'll get what the sticker says.

On a side note, I have a 2013 Ford F-150 4 x 4 with an Ecoboost engine in it...rated at 24 mpg on the highway. The only time I can get that kind of mileage is if I drive religiously between 55 and 60 mph. Otherwise, my mpg is generally between 16 and 18 mpg driving at 70 to 75 mph...with a tailwind...going downhill.
