  1. Jeep humor waiting room ( ** NO POLITICS ** )

The juice is worth the squeeze! This would be an epic road trip!* *I do work for an oil company in Alaska and we appreciate your business 🤪
  2. Do you do your own work

We don't have struts like that on wranglers.
  3. Do you do your own work

    Certified YouTube mechanic here.
  4. Do you do your own work

Man I think the suspension on these is really simple and lift kits from most companies are well thought out and tested. Just need to make sure you torque everything correctly.
  5. Skiing Behind Jeep on Glacial Lake

Yeah it is crazy how fast conditions change out there. Every week it's different! Sounds like a lot of the snow blew off the lake the past few days and now there is also a ton of overflow out there. We really caught the conditions just right for skiing.
  6. Skiing Behind Jeep on Glacial Lake

Thanks for the kind words! It was really fun. Here is a photo of her skiing in one of our races in January.
  7. East Mojave Heritage Trail

It looks really cool. Here is an entertaining podcast that covers a 5 days on the trail:
  8. Skiing Behind Jeep on Glacial Lake

Thanks Bob! It was a last minute idea that ended up working really well despite her being on race skis and not powder skis. She skis over 80 days a year and is really dialed in. Once I stopped towing she said I was going way too slow and next time to go faster! We didn't auger the ice but...
  9. Skiing Behind Jeep on Glacial Lake

Sunday my 11yr old daughter wanted to go skiing. Well, I wanted to go wheeling. So we compromised and did both!
  10. Over Air Update killed my battery?

I’m wondering if the OTA will be pushed to my Jeep again or if there is a way to see the history of attempted OTAs?
  11. Over Air Update killed my battery?

Mine (2023 392)did similar on Wednesday, but the Jeep started then I got the dash freak out with all the lights and wipers going full speed and a ton of error messages. Took forever for the Jeep to even shutoff (pressing the start/stop button didn’t work for a while). Battery was at 12.5 v. I...
  12. Swaybar Skidplate Necessary?

Both bumpers are aluminum shell with steel tray. No clearance issues with the Evo, only clearance issues with the genright.
  13. Swaybar Skidplate Necessary?

No problem. The winch I used was just a really tight fit and I remember it being tedious. Then notching the plate with bad tools was kinda frustrating. There is a lot of metal in the plate and I doubt it weakens it significantly. Probably used the winch about 12 times before selling the Jeep.
  14. Driving a new 392 on 90 octane fuel?

Do it! I live in Anchorage and have been using the 90 octane since March. So no long term proof but engine sounds fine and haven’t had any issues. The 392 is AMAZING.
  15. Droning..... Is actually the SUB reverbing (Update)

This is awesome, thanks for posting! My ANC seems to come on and off but and it's really annoying.
  16. Swaybar Skidplate Necessary?

Well Evo is incorrect. The aluminum quarter pounder is what I installed a couple months ago and it fit as you can see in my photos with no issues. If you want the ultra clearance genright and don't mind taking a bit more time to get it to fit, I'd say go for it. I'm always in a hurry and just...
  17. Swaybar Skidplate Necessary?

Went with motobilt for the rear but haven’t yet installed it!
  18. Swaybar Skidplate Necessary?

I should say that the genright ultra clearance bumper is awesome but EXTREMELY tight with a warm zeon 10-S. It was so much of a pain to install I bought a different bumper (quarter pounder) for my 2023 even though I really like the genright looks.
  19. Swaybar Skidplate Necessary?

Running the Warn Zeon 10-S. On the genright bumper I had to grind a little bit where the winch and sway bar made contact with the plate if I remember right. I sold that Jeep and put an Evo quarter pounder on this new 2023 and had zero clearance issues. Here are a couple photos of the quarter...
