I got tired of seeing the reflection from the steering wheel trim on the windshield. I removed the chrome trim ring and installed a black trim ring. I like the new look and there is no more reflection from the sun.

Still needs the RSE step sliders, winch and a pair of 0.5” rear coil spacers to level out the back. Pretty stoked with how it turned out. Can’t wait to run it...just hope this diesel will hold up.

3 weeks in and 1k miles, on a Sport S EcoDiesel... Done so far; Rubicon Steel bumper, Rubicon fenders( rears chopped), Smittybilt 12k H2O, Rubicon rock sliders, 2 1/2" spacer lift, KMC Beadlock wheels, 38" Patagonia's, JKS disconnects, Factory55 ultra hook, Proclip phone mount.
3.5" Metalcloak game-changer on order, American Adventure Lab front fender chop on order. Motbilt inner fender liners on order.

Got the fox SS on. Had to use a JK synergy mount for the axle side mount to raise it high enough so the stabilizer body wouldn’t hit the tie rod.

It was $62 for the OEM filler neck (bought one in case I messed up) and about $10 for the hole saw (30mm). I made a thread on it here:

You could just modify your own and not buy a spare and it would be almost free. It took about 5 minutest to modify the neck and about an hour to swap it in, taking your time.

I cant find the post, but has anyone installed an inner fender liner. I'm trying to install a Rough Country Liner and the damned wiper fluid res. is in the way. Who was the member who did the same? Im stuck here.

Accutune LCAs, stops, and swaybar links, synergy 3” springs, Fox 2.5 DSC shocks all on today. Looks like only a shade over 2” of lift with all the extra diesel and mod weight. Might have to go higher but we’ll see how it runs off road.

you need to remove it. I have a tint reservoir tank on order and will be doing a write up on it.
