Checking in on the Jeep cares chat today and they told me I was in D1!!!! And I was ecstatic for about 45 seconds before another message came in and she said oops I meant D status. What's the equivalent of girl blue ball? Because damn.

LOL...You might be better off assuming 11/25 is the start of production and being shocked if it’s sooner. It looks more and more every day like the fix was in with FCA/EPA months ago and they agreed on a certification timeframe as part of the emissions settlement.

I think this is well said and probably on target. Hopefully by this time next week some of us will actually be in D1 status and production beginning the following week.

I've been following and it seems like the 25th is probably right... But I'm still going to check in at least every other day to see what's up just in case.

Just checked scheduling. My 10/21 order is still in D status. I suspect it is the same for all of the diesel orders but it should be changing soon if the 11/25 production start is real.

I talked to my salesman today and he couldn't even confirm the 11/25 date for start of production.

Mine is D status as well. I highly doubt the diesels will depreciate much, jeeps hold their value well.

That’s because said date came from an internal presentation which wasn’t widely distributed. The shortest November transition from D1 to the line on the 2020 tracking thread looks like it was 2 days. That would leave Saturday as the timing of moving to D1 if they planned on actual assembly starting 11/25, but my guess is no one goes to D1 until Monday. A betting man would peg Monday as the day we see EPA fuel economy and emissions certification as well...if that comes to pass, almost certainly an arbitrary date agreed upon as part of FCA’s emissions settlement given that exact date was on paper over 2 months ago.
