2023 V6 engine cover missing?

Did they forget to put mine on or is this a cost saving feature for 2023? I prefer without it personally. Just curious for those who are receiving their orders and what they have.

22's were missing them too. You can complain to your dealer and they'll (begrudgingly) get you one in a few months... if they're one of the good ones, or junk yard jeeps are an option. I don't really care that mine was missing it enough to bother. As @SlickRickMotoADV said, they claim it's a supply chain thing. I lean more toward it's them saving 30 bucks per jeep.

I have no desire to bug them. My dealer is awesome. I think it looks better without it and was just curious more or less if stuff is getting forgotten at the factory or what. The whole bead lock trim rings thing is crazy since some guys got their Jeeps earlier than I with less bolts and yet I have the full bolt pattern. Just odd overall!

I have a Jan 21 build and it came with one. My Infiniti’s also have them and they seem to collect all the gunk that ends up in the engine bay.

They aren't missing, they were deleted. The website hasn't shown the engine with the cover since 2021. It may have started as a supply chain issue, but they've clearly realized that it's useless and pointless. It's not coming back.

Jeep was nice enough to donate them to the broncos, after seeing what a mess they made in their engine bays.

This has come up several times and I personally don't care that it's gone. My question is did the cover keep mud or other debris off something important on the engine? May seem like a crazy question but I kept getting mud deep inside of various nooks and crannies after a glorious day of Jeeping the training areas. I'm asking because I'm waiting on a '23 to be delivered after selling my '18 last year. Just wondering if anyone has any practical experience with this?

They may have deleted the engine cover but it looks like they changed the air filter cover to add that mountain scene and the Jeep logo. I like it! Mine is a 2020 build.

I think your engine looks just right with the Mopar CAI and no engine cover.
