I ordered my 2022 Sahara with manual transmission on 01 Mar 22, and I picked it up from the dealer on 27 April 22. Maybe I just hit the right time...Ordered 2-door JL manual 7/21, order confirmed 7/25. Dealer wrote me "2-doors take a little longer to schedule, as do manual transmissions."
According to the July build guide dual doors aren’t available with Earl…. Or Reign sadly….TL;DR below
Question, I ordered a Jeep a couple of days ago (copy of it below), I wasnt feeling myself 100% so I made the mistake of not going over the order in detail before I left, assuming everything we had talked about was on there. I was looking over it yesterday and I noticed the dual doors were missing, and I had forgotten to ask for the 4.88 gearing, as it hadn't come up at all. I know my guy played around with trying to add duel doors & duel top, and he likely just forgot to recheck it.
Yesterday after noticing the mistake, I called them to add the two things on and remove the body coloured flares, and just asked them to email me when they had the new order sheet. Didn't hear back until around a couple of hours ago, when I get a call wanting to confirm that it was the dual doors with the premium uppers I had wanted. After the call I texted asking when I should expect the email with the new order sheet I'm finally told that I haven't gotten it because they've had trouble adding the dual doors onto my order, and they have had to call Jeeps head office or whatever to get it sorted.
TL;DR : Has anyone else had trouble adding dual doors to their order after they made it? To be clear, I only have an order number, and there isn't a VIN.

Does that build guide apply to Canada or is it just to the US? Weird thing was he was seeing it show up on his computer when I was ordering as options, and Earl was selected early on. Also ordered this on 08/02, so maybe they were available for August? I dunno. But they were on call with the head office to try and figure something out. I think I might be the first 2023 they've had custom ordered.According to the July build guide dual doors aren’t available with Earl…. Or Reign sadly….
Someone more knowledgeable than I would have to answer that question.Does that build guide apply to Canada or is it just to the US? My dealer said just the opposite... make sure this is everything you want. I guess in my mind this whole thing is chaotic enough without change orders complicating things further. But if your dealer said it was okay, then they should be helping you out.Why would they be hesitant after they told me I could call if I wanted to make changes so long as it was before I got a VIN?
It was a few months before I received an email from Jeep for my '22. Pretty sure the first didn't appear until I hit D1 at 18 weeks.D
you haven’t received any email from jeep?
something is wrong. Check with your dealer
Oh okay i have received 2 emails from jeepIt was a few months before I received an email from Jeep for my '22. Pretty sure the first didn't appear until I hit D1 at 18 weeks.
Thanks, that's good to know. And that's one great looking 2-door ?You won’t regret the 4.88s with 35s and the MT. I ordered a 22 with 3.6L MT and 4.88s and immediately swapped out stock tires for 35s. Love it!!!
Does anyone here know if Canadians should be expecting this email as well?It was a few months before I received an email from Jeep for my '22. Pretty sure the first didn't appear until I hit D1 at 18 weeks.

Will this work for Canadians? After some digging, I've found the Jeep Tracker information is actually public, if you know your VON and last name. This is the URL used by the Jeep Tracker website:
