The video in the linked article kinda makes me wish the JL had TJ-style box lights. There's something elegantly practical about a cheap taillight you can easily replace from a parts bin at an auto store.
Thanks for letting us know, OP - just ordered it for myself too.
Would be lying if I said I wasn't a bit apprehensive about the potential leaks in the Fox shocks. Hope the problem is not that widespread.
If anyone comes across the complete list of parts used in the 2-door 35" package, please post it here. I'd like to upgrade my JLR to XR unofficially and it would be great to have a list of known parts - particularly interested in suspension/drivetrain differences.
The potholes and uneven roads in my city are all the justification I need for owning a Wrangler.
That being said, I only bought this last year so I'm beginning my off-roading journey. Who knows where I'll be in a few years.
I’d probably welcome wireless but it’s since it’s not available natively on my 23, I haven’t given it much thought.
Wired is unreliable for me. Despite trying multiple USB-C cables (Apple, Anker, etc), none consistently connect to CarPlay on the first try.
I’m looking for a cable that will end...
Unless this guy ushers in a radical shift in approach to Jeep, which is unlikely given his FCA credentials, I think we're in for more of the same. Some surface-level changes to keep the shareholders happy, but otherwise a continuation of the downward trend.
I hate to say it, but the outlook is...
Whether the figures are indeed true or not, a more affordable Jeep begets a larger community, and in turn better parts and accessories. I wish new Jeeps were more accessible to a larger audience.
Call me a pessimist but I'm pretty happy I got my 2023 2-door JLR when I did.
New grille makes it look like a full-size Renegade.
New dash is disconcordant and ruins the cohesive design language of the interior. It reeks of compromises in an attempt to achieve feature-parity with the Bronco...
If the root cause of the clutch issue can indeed be traced back to the design decisions made while implementing ESS, it only adds to my negative view of ESS. I've already disabled ESS permanently, and for my 2023 JLR MT, I have two options depending on the nature of the recall fix:
If the...
While we’re dreaming: a 2-door JL with a minor increase in wheelbase, 3.0T I6 with a manual transmission and the XR package with stock 35s. Also, next gen Apple CarPlay.
You got it đź‘Ť
Only thing is, that's a shortcut and not a personal automation. So it won't run unless you ask it to. I'd recommend adding that shortcut to the home screen and smashing that icon whenever you feel like it. Alternatively, set up the same steps in the Automations tab in Shorcuts...
After some digging, I've found the Jeep Tracker information is actually public, if you know your VON and last name. This is the URL used by the Jeep Tracker website:
https://www.jeep.com/hostz/cots/order-status/ORDER_NUMBER/YOUR_LAST_NAME
Now, if you have an iPhone you can use the built-in...
