Has it also been determined that 22’ isn’t the mid cycle refresh and not much will change? I’ve heard yes and no on this too. If it isn’t changing and there is in fact a delay ordering then I think I will pull the trigger.
See that’s my problem too. I’m being realistic. I’m not being sour. Of course I would love to order a 2022 model today with the changes I want but I also know that’s probably not gonna happen. The only thing I want right now is just a confirmation on exactly what’s changing and when it’s going to be available to order. Even if that is September. Then I can make a more informed decision. Unfortunately there still is no confirmation. The only thing you’re going to find here is conjecture or hearsay from different dealerships.

There should at a minimum be 35” tires available on the 2022 Rubicon if that interests you. I’m holding out for that and if Uconnect 5 happens even better. I am cancelling my day 1 bronco reservation for the wrangler.

Yeah I know these are rumored to come we just don’t have anything official on features or a date yet. Hoping for both today but not looking like it.

I wouldn't do that. Buy them both! Keep that Bronco reservation as you'd be able to turn around and re-sell for a profit in this environment. Hell, you could probably "pre-sell" your order to someone if you really looked into it (assuming it's actually an early guaranteed build). People really want the Bronco and money is flying around these days.

That’s true and good points. I haven’t cancelled yet but my order has all of the hard to get options. Badlands trim, hard top, Sasquatch, etc. Ford sent out a email last week basically saying I won’t get mine until 2022 unless I change my build.

I have nothing against the bronco I think it’s a cool car and I’m happy that there is some serious competition for the wrangler but it’s just not the car for me. With that said I think Ford really messed up. They built too much hype up too early. I think a lot of people thought they would at least get their bronco by mid 2021.

Yeah definitely some things I like more in the bronco and more in the wrangler. I personally love the sky one touch option on the wrangler but wish the wrangler had a more powerful “base” engine option like the 2.7 Ford offers. Both are very cool cars however in my opinion

With the exception of the TRX the rest are brand new models so not a model year change over. That required a full retooling of the factories so not quite the same as a carryover model.

Agreed and he didn't have an answer.

He then started to list all of the things that have changed to 2022's. Wagoneer, Grand Cherokee, Ram (got one of the first 2022 TRX's).

Makes sense. I guess I'll order the my new gladiator to take advantage of the trade in amounts and be happy no matter what happens. Uconnect 5 can't be be worth 20k with my truck being worth 70k now and probably 50k later.

This is me. Technically I could wait till December just as easily, but the amount I can get for my current truck today (which is what's going to fund my first big mods [bumpers, lift, wheels/tires,etc]) is only going to go down the longer I wait. Might as well pull the trigger in the next few weeks and take advantage.

Exactly! With what I'm getting the for truck and the level of gladiator I'm getting, the fabricated 9's from Fusion are damn near covered :)

Where are you planning to buy from? I'm down in Benbrook - contacted all of the DFW Jeep dealers, plus DeMontrond down in The Woodlands and then the big out of town ones. Peterson, Koonz, and Gupton were the only ones that responded. Gupton offered ~8% below invoice (with Tread Lightly and dealer finance) right off the bat, so that's where I'm planning to go. Plus flights from DAL-BNA are dirt cheap on Southwest.

Probably Classic Arlington. They 8% below invoice or MSRP? I have a family number and its 1% dealer invoice.
