Probably Classic Arlington. They 8% below invoice or MSRP? I have a family number and its 1% dealer invoice.
Daniel @ Gupton quoted me 8% below *invoice*. If you get a local dealership to match that, let me know. My Sahara builds out at $53K, Gupton quoted $47K and some change. Totally worth the trip up to Tennessee.

Are they matching trade in value? I found that not all markets are as inflated as DFW/Texas.

Oh that's a good question. I'm not doing a trade-in - I want the cash so I'm planning to buy from Gupton, come home, and then sell my truck. Carvana and Vroom are both currently offering 5.3K, so I'll probably drive it up to Carmax first and then take the check from whoever is highest of the three.

I'm still somewhat up in the air on *exactly* what I want to do. I've got my bumpers picked out, but am going back and forth over the lift/wheels/tires. I have a 3" lift on my Sierra now, with 33s. Had originally planned to do the 2" MOPAR lift, but I don't have the budget to do that *and* new wheels/tires, so I may just do a spacer lift or Rubicon springs and then get wheels/tires. Figure I'll drive it for a couple of weeks first and then make the call.

That also factors into the cost - I'm fully capable of doing a bumper swap, and probably spacers/springs. But if I wind up doing a full lift, I'll probably take it up to Redemption Offroad. I'm *capable* of doing a lift (I lifted my Sierra with my neighbor) but the truck took ~10hrs and that's just a 2WD Rough Country kit. I'd gladly pay someone else to lift the Jeep, lol.

Sounds awesome. My OCD has been kicking my ass figuring out which to go with - 4 door or Gladiator and (for some reason) I find the gladiator more comfortable.

It'll be a big build - fabricated 9's, 40/42's, and full coilover suspension. Then in 2 years I'll buy another HD truck and it'll become dedicated fun car. I used to daily drive (for over 2 years) a JKU on 40's and loved it. Only thing that made it not so comfortable was the full weld in cage which I won't do in the gladiator.

Where are you planning to buy from? I'm down in Benbrook - contacted all of the DFW Jeep dealers, plus DeMontrond down in The Woodlands and then the big out of town ones. Peterson, Koonz, and Gupton were the only ones that responded. Gupton offered ~8% below invoice (with Tread Lightly and dealer finance) right off the bat, so that's where I'm planning to go. Plus flights from DAL-BNA are dirt cheap on Southwest.
Gupton has the best deal now.

The Gladiator would actually be way cheaper for me - the "Texas Trail" package has most of the options I'm paying extra for included. I just don't like the squared-off back, and if I'm going to get a truck, I'd just get the RST Z71 Silverado. Same price, more toys/extras, and the paint option that I love (Dark Sky Metallic). But I've driven this GMC for 15 years - never once towed anything, and I have a bedcover that stays on 95% of the time. Just no need for the things that make a truck a truck, so the JLU lets me sit "up" like a truck but with better MPG and more fun.

This is what I found.
https://www.jeepgladiatorforum.com/...-8-below-invoice-near-houston-tx.44041/page-2

4% below invoice with Bart Gunkel at Covert CDJR in Austin

7% below invoice with Joshua Montes (956-467-3567) at South Point Dodge in Austin($150 doc fee, $188.75 govt fees added on).

I am going for a 4XE and Daniel at Gupton can only 7% below invoice on them. Daniel is my last resort if I can't get Joshua deal to work out. Daniel has a $500 doc fee.

Crazy! So does it make sense to even use my control number? 4-7% under are better than what they are talking about here.

Anyone know if 2021's opened back up for order today, they were closed over the weekend according to my dealer or at the very least, they had no allocation they could order. Or are we still assuming 2022's soon and no orders allowed until then?

I think everyone who's on this thread currently is holding out from ordering unless an official word is given on 2021 June Order Guides vs 2022 MY Order Guides coming out. Once we know which of those two things is coming this week, there's several of us who will place our orders.

I believe the current assumption is that 2021 order banks are open until August/September.

Yup that’s what it’s looking like but since we can’t place orders right now and no 21 order guides are out I have my reservations.

That's awesome. And good to know!
Do you happen to know a rough build time?

I decided to go ahead and take an offer on my Tesla from one of the internet buying services, so I am ready to order. Just trying to decide whether to wait on ‘22. Also partially wondering whether to wait and see what happens with the new legislation on EVs, as I am in for a 4xe. Decisions are hard?
