Battery is way too small for me to even consider the 4Xe and that weight for now. If we were in the 50-80 mile range I would consider it more. Over a 100 and it would be an easy choice. But I guess that’s what the full electric will be.
It's not about the range. It is about matching the performance of the 5.7 in an efficient package. The range is just a bonus.

The right way to think of the 4Xe is plugging in to get V8 power. I haven't driven one to know if it delivers but on paper it does.

Which is why they will never put the 5.7 in the Wrangler, and will probably start to phase it out once they add the hybrids to the rest of the lineups.

Just caught up on this thread because I'm in the same boat as @alksion. Don't need a new car but ready to buy a new 4xe and know my build. Don't want to get one of the last 2021's if the 2022 has worthwhile changes. uConnect 5 would be a big one in my book.

That’s good to hear. I wonder who told them that. Unless they have something in writing I wonder how they were provided that information

I was on the phone with a Jeep Waves rep talking about problems with UConnect4. She said she did not know if UConnect 5 would be introduced in 2022 Wranglers. She did say it is in most Chrysler products and Ram was getting it.

Fingers crossed there is some truth to this. Hopefully we hear about 2022s soon.

Yeah if nothing is changing I may just look for a lightly used 2021. Literally if there’s no changes...

Well see. I’m not stressed. Just need to get the info and I’ll begin making my decision.
