As others have said, drive it as is for a few weeks and determine what your uses are and where the weaknesses are in its current form. Rushing out to spend money will usually make you have to spend even more money later to correct things.

I know people have lots of fun modding these but personally I would just keep it stock and enjoy it, at least until I got to know it well. Down the line if you can solidly identify something missing, then add/change it.

. . . realizing each day–
We love camping on the gulf coast beaches with our JLURXR. Your JLUBEACH is likely well set up stock. As you begin to use her and troll about here you'll find plenty of suggestions.

Simple beach recovery items: shovel, bottle jack with sand pad, a good tow strap and soft shackles are all we have ever needed to enjoy primitive beaches and dunes over the years and three wranglers. Watching the tide charts and weather have helped, too.

She is beautiful, enjoy—

Thanks for all the suggestions, this is great! I’ll definitely keep it mostly stock for a while, I was thinking maintenance/comfort upgrades and got some good ideas. Thanks again everyone.

Can’t recommend mud flaps enough. Driving on the street my KO2s threw up enough junk to ding my door hinges in the first few months of ownership

just about everything else I have done came from digging through this forum.
Enjoy your Jeep!

If you have another vehicle to use in bad weather then get:
- Bestop safari top top(you’ll need the windshield channel too)
-Tube doors for kids/critters if any
-Trail mirrors (don’t get the ones I have that come off the windshield hinge -too much vibration)
-decent cab cover for rain days
I wouldn’t touch anything else on your Jeep until it breaks or wears out.

I am driving the same set-up as you, and my first advice is that if you want your rear fenders to remain like new, then seriously consider splash guards at least in the front. Otherwise the ton of rocks thrown by the big K02s will definitely leave hit marks that you can’t avoid with the black plastic fenders. I have painted fenders with paint protective film and just got the film changed last week because it was full of little rips caused by rocks. So I had the film replaced by thicker ones and got weathertech splash guards.

Best advice I got was to leave it as is for several months to get an idea of what you really need and where you want to go with it.

I will say my kids prompted my first mod which was a rear seat recline kit after our first long drive.

You should drive it a bit first - but here's what I did before I even drove it:

Mopar mudflaps - front and rear (protects the paint).
Door sill guards (protects the paint again).
Cell Phone mount (I use GPS for work - so I needed a place to mount my phone - I didn't have the 'upgraded' stereo).
Dash cam + wiring harness (keeps things 'factory' and protects me).
Mopar floor mats (again, protects the vehicle).

After driving it for a bit, I bought:

Storage bag for behind the passenger seat (on wheel well).
JSCAN and bypass cable (changed TPMS threshold, 'added' hood alarm, removed 'tap to pass').
Cheap Throttle sensitivity controller (still playing with it - may not keep it).
XG Cargo sunshade (I've only used it once - may do so more next year!).
Plastic cargo bin that goes in front of center console+bin that goes in front of shifter (cheap - but very useful!).
Armrest cover (so much nicer than the factory plastic - and it protects it!).

My 'current' plans are:

New tires (looking at something better than OEM Michellins - probably Kuhmo ATs - ran them with success before).
Dead pedal (I don't really need it, but it would be nice some days).
More storage solutions (such as rollbar bags).
