That’s where mine is, and got it wired to aux switch….. did this because my winch has on/off switch on the winch itself, to easy for shenanigans ……took a minute to remember to turn on switch “before “ I got out though 🤣
Any pictures of your under hood setup? My aux switches are being shipped right now (OEM of course). I'm planning on using aux #2 for the winch power, #3 for winch-out, #4 for winch-in. Aux #1 will likely be for a compressor, but that's a future project.

This is how it looks today, I put Tesa tape over it, all I could see was a screwdriver/wrench slipping and shorting shit out..🤣

That tape is better than nothing... I've definitely done my share of "unintentional welding"

Finished wiring up the Mopar hitch wiring kit 82216359. I loosely followed this guide and this video for how to add the pins the tail light. The only panel removed was the lower portion of the inner fender on the passenger side.

I don't think this kit was thought out well for the 2-door. I ended up needing to remove the fuse & cover in order to pass by a section of the gas tank... it's really tight and took me a while. I'm probably going to eventually relocate the trailer plug receptacle to something like this if/when I decide to get a different muffler.

Working on getting the Mopar aux switches added... the wiring design isn't very good. For some reason they didn't put the fuses in the relay box and instead drape them across the firewall. You're supposed to hold the wiring up with plastic zip ties... above the turbo... that gets hot enough to cook the coolant reservoir. Also the fuses would rub on the engine cover if installed per the instructions. Makes me think I should have considered using Zautomotive's AuxZilary Kit more.

I decided the wiring needed to change and routed it up higher with some rubber coated stainless steel clamps. Unfortunately I also broke one of the studs off on the coolant reservoir during all of the test fitting. With my wiring location it could have stayed installed.

These two clamps required a little bit of custom bending:

These two clamps originally had a nut/washer combo that wouldn't allow a clamp to bolt on. I used a different nut & washer below the clamp.

I'm going to wrap those red wires. Also considering routing the excess 4-door hitch wiring up there (it has a similar fuse holder next to the fuse box in this photo).

Depending on how the California tire efficiency law plays out, I could be needing 37" tires eventually. Apparently I can already fit a 37x11.5 on the front, and only need pretty minor modifications to fit in the rear.
