I had my V41 recall done yesterday. After picking it up last night and driving it home the steering felt more loose. Then this morning driving to work i drove across a bridge joint and experienced death wobble for the first time. It is now back at the dealership. The steering dampener was installed correctly.
Update so far...
Dealership called and said the recall part looks and checks out good. They found some play in my track bar so they have a replacement on its way and should be in tomorrow. I hope this is all it is. Up until the V41 Iāve had zero issues. I just donāt understand some of these components and how they can affect the steering in this manner.
