Same but different topic, I never received the bag for the Freedom Panels. It was listed on my window sticker, so I asked the dealer about. While they were great and got me a bag right away, they had to order one, and it was an $80 bag! I assume it should have come in the Jeep? I also didn’t get the parts to mount the front license plate. We are required in Ohio to have a front plate, and I walked by another JL that had the mounting hardware installed, so I know it exists.

So from what I gather since I ordered the dual top I SHOULD be getting the bags.

So I should be getting soft top storage bags, hardtop storage bags, ratchet set for door and top removal, and I’m hoping the window straps come with it.

Hopefully that’s everything.

I hope you're right BJJ. But as the ordering guide suggests (I posted the link to this guide in my original thread on this a few posts above) the soft top storage bags are a separately purchaseable option that should ONLY be available, not come standard with, soft top purchases--despite the FCA ordering system seaming to have the opposite coded into its system.

I am hopeful for you, but also less optimistic that such bag will come from FCA gratis to you.

I ordered the dual tops too, and was told that the ordering system precludes purchase of the soft top window bag precisely because my order included a soft top: the opposite logic to anything that makes sense.

BTW, a customer care supervisor returned my call today to acknowledge this as a problem. You would not believe the frustration I went through first getting the first line support people to understand (the Grand Cherokee doesn't come with soft top window bags sir----no really....that's what was typed back to me after I clearly said that "I am buying an All New 2018 JL Wrangler" (i.e. I used FCA's buzzspeak).

Then I got, check back with the ordering system sir. Options change frequently: buzz speak for, "yeah, we eventually fix software bugs." Check with the ordering system..funny, I thought only dealers have access to that--I'm a mere customer.

Then I got, "we don't get involved with dealer matters." when the problem lied with a corporate FCA ordering system.

My issue does not lie with the dealer, who has been great. His hands are tied by FCA.

I concur 31. The soft top storage bag is a separately priced item (order code CWJ) that the ordering guide linked here in the forum correctly states, I think, is only orderable if you also order some configuration at purchase of the vechile that includes a soft top, be it premium or basic, tan or black, or part of a dual top order (i.e. premium soft).

Sadly, unless they fixed it today, the FCA Ordering System seems to prevent the ordering of CWJ if you've purchased any configuration that includes a soft top....which makes about as much sense as the supermarket not allowing you to buy bread, because you tried purchasing at the same time a jar of peanut butter and a jar of jelly.

Silly customer.....everyone knows you can't have your peanut butter and jelly on bread! Who has peanut butter and jelly on bread?!

Yes, see below. The ST1, ST2 and ST3 options are not available yet so the only way to currently be able to order it is by getting the dual top. Can confirm and build as such.

Then FCA fixed the ordering system since yesterday, where things like AEN (Dual Tops), which I ordered, PRECLUDED ordering of CWJ (Soft window storage bag.) I am glad FCA fixed this. I am glad you tested this JLWF Dealer Guy, I'm glad you didn't run into the same problem, and I'm glad for this forum, which I think helped give my complaint to FCA a head of steam.

Again, my dealer on Monday could not order CWJ (Soft window storage bag, a.k.a. "bread") if (AEN Dual top, a.k.a. "peanut butter") or ST3 (Premium Tan top a.k.a "Jelly") was also ordered--but mine was a Sahara order, not your test Rubi order.

Has anybody measured, or COULD SOMEONE measure the total height of a JLUS ?
Just curious how tall it is, and how tall it would get with 33s and a 2’’ Mopar lift kit

Does anyone know which package the power inverter comes with, or is this available only on the Sahara or Rubicon? I plan on ordering a Sport S and would like to have this feature if possible. I've searched the forum and the owner's manual, but didn't see anything specific regarding how to order it or if it is part of a specific package. The owner's manual just gives the description of the inverter and adds the qualifier "if equipped".

The Jeep Builder says Rubi and Saharas get the 115VAC plug, whether you like it or not (in addition to the 12V), and the Sports the 12V.

I tried searching but couldn't find for you a youtuber complaining, as I remember, how it wasn't hard to blow the standard AC outlet.

Better 3rd party inverters are so likely to be cheaper options if the outlet's beautiful integration into the JL interior's trim work is less important than more AC electrical power or upgrading to the Sahara or Rubi merely for this feature.

(With tongue-in-cheek sarcasm) Well, did you order a soft top? If not, then what do you expect!? If the soft top window storage bag wasn't available with soft top purchases do you really think you hard top people deserve "special treatment" in having a Freedom Panel bag for the Freedom Panels that are part of the hard top?

I measured a sport, Sahara and Rubi on site. The Rubi was like 73-1/2? BTW, did Jay respond to you?
