My reference is Sahara vs Rubicon and the Rubicon just isnt much higher than a Sahara except because of tires. Don’t believe me take a measurement on the real deal, I have.

Gotcha. Didn't you say though that your measurements were rough because of being taken on carpet? But stating that rubi isn't much higher than Sahara except for tires is just your opinion, right? Not knowing the spring specifics like on the JK, no one yet knows if tires alone are the primary reason. Just saying, not trying to argue.

Well for one, because an actual physical measurement of the Rubicon and sport showed the former to be taller by 2" (73.5" vs. 71.5"). JLWF Dealer Guy, were you able to measure the Sahara as well? Was it 71.5"?

I think people are getting confused here, my previous discussion here was for the Rubicon & Sahara. I had a chance at the auto show Friday to compare them side by side. At most Sahara is barely 1 inch shorter than a Rubicon. Never said anything about a Sport model. Hope this helps.

I will add that on the official Jeep.com sight under specs, all 3 Unlimited models, Sport, Sahara and Rubicon list the exact same overall height, 73.6 inches.

I wasn't responding to you and I'm not confused in the slightest. JLWF Dealer guy has stated the Rubicon is taller than both the Sport and Sahara (at least one of those comparisons by physical measurement). The only thing that remains unclear is precisely how much taller the Rubicon is relative to the Sahara. Just waiting for an actual measurement.

Didn't read this whole thread....... but I posted last night. The JLUR is 73" at highest ( point middle over vehicle).

My measurements taken today: Stock JLUR with Hard Top is 72.5" high, Stock JLU Sport with Soft top is 73 9/16" with high point being the middle bar. Jeep's stock spec. says 73.6" high, so jeep's specified height is for the soft top which is about one inch higher than the hardtop.
