All fixed and covered by warranty. Obvious marks on the glass that made it clear that the window got hot. Needed to submit photos so FCA could approve, but all good!
After 3 repairs to my rear defrost, I finally needed it this morning as it was 45 degrees and my windows were foggy.
After driving for about 10 minutes I stopped to get gas. While casually pumping gas, my rear window just exploded. Out of nowhere!! Now comes the fight to get Jeep to coverit.
First time this has happened, and it was all day. Even stopped a few times for gas, lunch, etc., and it continued. I checked it this morning after being parked for about 15 hours and it seems fine.
My radio is making a constant beeping noise it sounds a bit like the parking sensor, but its a bif of a different pitch and can be adjusted with the volume. To watch the video, click here.
This morning I checked it again and it seems to be gone. Anyone else experience this? If it happens...
Same, I tried for a long time to get a wired trailer brake to work for those of us that did not get the OEM tow package. I gave up and purchased the wireless controller. Just towed my Jayco Hummingbird for 12 hours using it and it worked great!
Just had mine repaired for the 3rd time. This time they left it disconnected for me to snap back on later. I like the zip tie idea as the is exactly what seems wrong.
Where did I blame the JL? Read it again, unless I’m missing it, I don’t see where I accused Jeep, the JL, or anything else.
I’ll check the ground. Thank you for the help buried in your response.
My running lights on my trailer come on for about Two seconds and then they showed up. The rest of my lights are working just fine, it’s just an issue with the running lights. Anyone else experiencing this?
Took mine in today for an oil change. I mentioned at check-in that I experienced a wobble one time that was pretty severe and didn’t go away until I slowed down. I also explained how the steering felt very loose over bumps.
They replaced my steering damper and it made an instant noticabke...
Awesome, thanks for posting. It does work, but it’s pretty clunky. Do I need to confirm multiple times? I appreciate the security aspect of using your pin, but now I’m expected to speak my pin out loud? Novelty at best.
