This is useful. So, from the second link I see, "Restriction should mean that they are at capacity for building for this allocation period, and should open up again for the next allocation."JKs had order restrictions too. Not as many but pretty regular.

You see a lot more of what goes on when you have your nose pressed up against the glass like we do here!
I guess that means those who ordered before the restriction and are in D status are not affected? i.e. Only new orders are restricted?
I hope the same is true for supply constraints.
