Can someone with a JL Rubicon check for me if the KO2s have white lettering on the inside edges?

I've never leased a vehicle, but my dad did once. Not realizing it, he went way over the mileage allotment when the lease expired. He either had to pay the penalty or sell it to a private party. He ended up selling it to a private party and came out a little ahead of the lease residual. He never leased a vehicle again.

I have one on order, but not in my hands yet. I asked this question before and was told they do NOT have white lettering on the inside. Several pictures I have since seen online confirm this. Bummer.....

MOPAR Side Steps as accessories are $385 assuming no discount.

Buy them with the vehicle and they're about $588 assuming a 5% discount off of Invoice.

Aside from being able to roll them into financing--and I'm probably paying for the vehicle outright, (assume s Sport s) why would I spend $200 to not install them myself?

I've done this installation before on other vehicles. Is it particular hard to do on a Wrangler?

Your assessment is correct. It's not hard at all. It is just more expensive from the factory for no reason.

Can anyone report having been able to order at deep discount from Station Jeep in Mansfield, MA, and NOT having to visit the dealer at all to place all aspects of the order short of the vehicle pickup itself?

Hello,

I’m considering a JULR, and to add to the family fun, would like to maybe buy a used pop up camper for weekend camping at parks and trail parks. So far in my research, the camper I picked would be right at the wrangler’s max tow capacity (loaded), with the tongue weight around 350 or so. What are thoughts on how this would work out? Some hills would be involved, probably no mountain passes...

I have a 2008 rubicon with stock 410gears and a running 315 70 tires I tow a rock wood premiere pop up that weighs fully loaded. 3500. The trailer has electric brakes. The jeep tows it just fine stops ok you just have to adopt a more leisurely travel pace. Funny thing is towing the trailermpg. Because I am much closer to 55 mph. Up hills kinda sucks though I am in the slow lane Last summer I towed it 2000 miles on a vacation. We went up the coas of ca. Through the redwoods and into Oregon Some tight twisty roads for sure. I have 170000 on it

I know it’s suppose to come with a bag for the two front pieces of the freedom top but, is there any company out there that makes a bag for the big piece? Mine may have to sit outside in the backyard during the summer and I’d rather it be protected than just sitting out.

On my old YJ I always put the hard top on 2 saw horses to get it off the ground, wrapped a tarp around it, put a few month balls where the wiring is for the wiper and let it sit outside all summer. Did this for about 10 summers and don’t feel it caused any unnecessary ware or damage. Depending on location and wind you might want to secure it down, from the right direction I could see it acting like a wind scoop but I never had a problem.

I tried searching these forums it came up all blanks.

anyone know the receiver hole size when you order a tow package on JLUR 1/2" or 5/8"?

The hole is 2", and that should equate to a 5/8" pin hole, if that is what you're asking...
