Quit whining??!! Getting wet is one thing when it rains but the gutter design on the JL's leaks into the car like a water fall - this is basically number complaint on the JL's.

Cant even crack window open while braking or water will come pouring in.

Get lost, dont talk to people that way...

.....and who buys 2 doors anymore?!! And what's up with the pictures?? Who cares
Awe look, it’s a mall crawler checking in from Boston. LOL!

Mall crawler lol..good one

However, look at a map and you will see I'm surrounded by mountains.

Because you just removed where you are from please enlighten us
Mountains....LOL. Now that is funny. No, I didn’t remove where I live. I’ll give you a hint though...it’s right next to Pike’s Peak...a real mountain. You, Boston, surrounded by mountains. LOL. The comedy on this forum is so rich. You win, you’ve made my evening.

It’s a Jeep and it is designed to be topless, noisy, driven in the mud and climbing to the top of mountains. If you wanted a trendy mall crawler you’re going to get wet when it rains.

If anyone doesn’t understand what they bought I suggest you immediately trade it in for a Rav4.
No dealer is taking that deal, they'd have to hand you a big bag of cash with it! :cwl:

Take it easy Brian and Sunny, Dawn (I assume a lady Jeeper) was just asking why it was designed that way. Getting work clothes wet would be annoying. Not to mention, this is a great place for people to give ideas and workarounds for things like this. And a million others.

Hello fellow Jeepers, this is my first post!
Thanks for letting me join the forum!
I was wondering if y'all had any experience with this:

Anyone else notice how water will drain inside the cabin whether on level ground or decline when you open your driver or passenger front door?
Almost as if the drop edge is not long enough.

(Obviously on a decline the water will roll forward, it does it on level ground though as well.)

My Jeep is a 2018 Wrangler JL Sport S (4 door)

Same issue here upon opening the door.

A rain shield only works while the door is closed. As soon as you open the door though, boom, any water still in the gutter falls right into the floor boards.

Happens with my soft top too. I literally get soaked when it's raining and I open the door, water falls onto the carpet inside also. Really annoying.

Agreed, I am currently scouring the Oracle (google) for gadgets or ideas to solve this.
I'm not a fabricator nor do I have the time to experiment. So, a simple yet functional solution needs to be found.
I'm hoping that someone here has dealt with it already.

Yes it does that because the gutter ends at the windshield, and the Jeep has a little bit of a forward rake so it points down when on level ground
