Rain Gutter Extensions Any Good?

OK, we all know that during a downpour water runs inside when the front doors are opened. Anyone tried these with any success? The reviews are quite mixed:

I'm not sure they would keep water out, over just moving it further forward just shy of the windshield. I'm more apt to believe the ones stating these still result in water in the cab, and just buy tem to move the gutter spill further forward away from my person. Not for the goal of keeping water out.

Well they look ok, not sure how they would hold up but once you took your freedom panels off and say put on a Sunrider for hardtop..

You would have to have two sets

I just keep a small towel in the Jeep, and wipe things down, when it dumps on me.
Remember, and repeat after me: "It's A Jeep Thang".

This topic has reminded me to go out and put a dab of silicone caulk at the front edge of my rain gutters.
