If they are releasing nightly builds the app should not have been released. Also, there is no way they are releasing new builds as that would require the system to download the new build and the version number should be changing. Going further, if the app is tied to a connection with the servers the app would be non-functional if there is no valid SiriusXM/uConnect subscription.
I haven't been paying attention to whether the version number had been incrementing with every time ORP loads after a delay. However, I did notice that it doesn't launch at all if I'm in the garage. Since we don't know the architecture of the app itself, it could be modular, requiring just some components to get downloaded every time they get a code revision, rather than the entire thing. Since it seems that a connection is required, either the app is getting installed/reinstalled/updated every time or it's doing some validation check against the server. Either way, it shouldn't have been released until it was ready.

I'm in upstate NY and don't have it yet. Funny thing though, we went offroading couole weekends ago and fellow upstate New Yorker next to me got it that day.

I had mine and lost them, twice. Just got them back this evening. I didnā€™t reset anything nor have I had an update since the OTA update came a few weeks ago. I PMed jeepcares last who told me uconnect would contact me but never received a call. Strange. But itā€™s nice to have them again.

i seem to have all the off road info in the instrument cluster above my steering wheel but not on the main screen. Is this normal?

Yes, no issue there. The update will give them to you on the center screen, with a larger picture and all the gauges on one screen, as well as larger versions of the pitch/roll and drive train view. It will have gps altitude, as well.

I still don't have mine, either.

So this is bizarre.

Iā€™ve booked an appointment at the dealer for a few days from now to start to process of getting some customer support since @JeepCares canā€™t/wonā€™t help Canadians.

Did the reset again, clearing personal data, so that I could more closely monitor exactly when and how the pages disappear so that when I go to the dealer I can show them exactly what it does - because I know damn well they canā€™t do anything on the spot and will have to escalate it.

That was four days ago. I still have the pages.

So if youā€™ve tried deleting personal data and it didnā€™t work, try it again. I also kept the screen up for as long as I could and switched to other screens as little as possible to try to catch it in the act. And finally, I also moved the off-road pages icon to the quicklaunch at the bottom so I could always see if it vanished when not in use. I have no idea if any of that actually mattered, but with the complete lack of detail from @JeepCares weā€™re just pigeons pecking at random buttons hoping to be fed. Maybe these steps matter. Maybe they donā€™t.

Happy to hear that worked for you, I'm reluctant to do another reset as it will wipe all of my presets and favorites again, which I've been building up over the couple of weeks since the last reset. Provided my VIN to @JeepCares but haven't heard anything yet.

East of Toronto. I never got an OTA update - the off-road pages were there when I took delivery Sep 12. I specifically looked for them to see if I would need the OTA update that had, at the time, just come out. Then they vanished sometime in the next week when I looked for them again.

Well letā€™s see what we can do ourselves.

Letā€™s gather relevant data first.

On your console, hold the driverā€™s side temperature controls up and down and the defrost at the same time to put the uconnect in dealer mode. In those screens you should find a software revision number. Take pics of those menus and post them.

You can also go to the uconnect website and enter your VIN to see if you have the latest software. If it tells you that an update is available it might tell you how to download and install it by USB. And if you canā€™t, then the dealer should.

ORP are in the manual if the dealer balks. You paid for it.
