I can say that the OEM ones are incredible. Blindingly bright. And just look great in DRL mode too.

I would check to see if your lights are aimed a little high if you are having difficulty when it is snowing. I have had to lower the aim on my SUV wi and one car, both with HIDs due to the same problem and that did the trick. My A6 with LEDs has been fine in bad snowfall so the factory must have gotten it right. Some of the folks with the led lights on their jeeps have said they are getting flashed by oncoming drivers. Their lights may be aimed a little higher that they should be. Worth checking, but then again when it is really coming down there is not much you can do anyway.
Thanks! It's worth a shot.

I can tell you from personal experience they along with the LED Fogs together are easily on par with my AMG headlights if not brighter. They also look better than the halogens IMHO.

Oracle LED bulbs 190 bucks. Good reviews so far. Can keep original headlight housing and switch back to non LED if needed. I’m getting ready to order them. My 2 cents.

This is cool! FYI you can plug some LED bulbs right into your Halogen Lamps...you won't need a conversion kit. I bought mine as well and they were ~$160. PM me if you are interested in the details about them, IF you haven't already decided to go with these.

Here is a nice shot with the factory LEDs with fog lights on. I'd put these on par with if not a little better than the HIDs I had in the Charger and 300 S.

In VA you are not allowed to retrofit LED headlights in vehicles. I put HID's in my truck a few years back and they wouldn't pass it in inspection until they were put back to normal Halogen lights. :/

That's good to know. I didn't know that, but to be honest, I was leaning toward buying the Mopar ones. Sadly, they aren't an option for Sports. I've done the mod thing before. I'm 50 yrs old and have had all sorts of fun tooling with aftermarket parts, but at times it is not fun, especially when your mod causes intermittent electrical issues that are difficult to find and fix. Plus I've hear horror stories about failing PCMs and aftermarket electrics causing those failures. No thanks!

I'll let the wife know that I'll expect LED headlights, from Mopar, next Father's Day or my next birthday (call it a late 50th BD present). This won't be hard for her to stomach, as she's a diehard Wrangler fan (she's already pushing me to get 33s).

The OEM LEDs in my JLUR are easily as good as the LEDs I have in my BMW 340i and marginally better than the ones we have in our Grand Cherokee. They are absolutely fantastic.

I think it's 100% worth it as well. I would never order another car without them.

That’s not exactly what the VA state code says about vehicle headlight requirements.

The LED replacement bulbs have to be labeled H13 or whatever the JL’s bulbs are, DOT labeling is required, and aiming must be measured and verified within spec. Which means it likely won’t ever pass, to be honest.

I have the LEDs as well. I have noticed that there isn't a lot of difference between low beam and high, which leads me to believe that they are adjusted too high. This was a problem last night as I was driving northbound I-25 from Ft. Collins, CO and had almost whiteout conditions with the wind coming right into my teeth. It was as though I had my high beams on (with old school halogens) and I had to drive by watching out my right and left windows for the sides of the road. White knuckling it for sure. Had my brain been engaged I would have turned off the mains and only run fogs - stupid not to think of that. I plan on having the dealer check the adjustment next week when I have an appt for another issue.

Has anyone else found that the High/Low seems about the same?
