I have been running the BB A/T's for about 1 month now and couldn't be more impressed with the performance on and off road. Mine are 315/70/17 load range E on stock wheels and I settled at 28 psi cold. They replace the Goodyear Territory's load range C (Bronco rubber) which were pretty good for what they are. I'm happy to be back on proper offroad tires despite losing 1.5 mpg.

I have 10k miles in mine now. And they still look great. I need to measure tread depth! Last rotation was about 1k miles or so ago and they were at 16/32 I think. They phenomenal in wet weather and I’m very impressed with them in heavy rain, even on the light 2dr soft top I have them on. I expected to get some hydroplaning because I’m so light but they have stayed planted. Haven’t had them in the snow yet. I run mine at 29psi. But they do get an absurd amount of weight added on to them. I need to take them off and add up how much total weight is added to the wheels to balance these. I haven’t decided if I want wider 35s or jump to 37s.

I am at about 25,000 miles on them between 255/85-17’s and 37x12.5-17’s and zero negatives. Had them in every condition except deep mud.

i sprung for a set of these recently to replace my KM3s; only have a few hundred miles on them so far.
37s beadlocked on the Mopar Beadlock wheels (which in a different paint scheme became known as the "XR" wheels), and first pass at balancing required turning a couple of the tires on a couple of the wheels to even get them close. after that they all took between 9 and 11 ozs to balance out, which was more than the BB M/Ts i had run in 35s. (only 1 of the M/Ts took more than a few ozs.)

wasn't happy with the way they rode, and Mickey Thompson tech support recommended Road Force balancing, which helped a lot. they are still the least smooth riding tires i've had on this J**p.

they do seem to be a little quieter than the KM3s; certainly at low speeds. the noise they make is at a different pitch, and spread across a broader frequency range (which would be expected, based on the difference in tread).
i do feel the same trait that @Ratbert observed, where it seems like they require a tad less steering input force to turn; haven't figured that out yet.
on-road manners are fine, and i confirmed last night that they do work significantly better on wet pavement than the KM3s (as expected). i'm really eager to see how much better they perform @ 4-6 PSI in the Sierra in winter, and on the sand.

off-pavement performance has yet to be tested; looking forward to it though, and my expectations are high!

By reading here it seems that these tires require a lot more weight to balance them than in the not too distant past. Makes me wonder if Goodyear has made changes since they acquired Cooper.

So far so good. They did extremely well when I did a stupidly challenging obstacle that required airing down to 10 PSI. Not quite as good road manners as my KO2s, but seem quieter.

They also deal with rain really well. We get A LOT here being so close to rainforests. It takes relatively deep water for them to hydroplane.

They haven't touched snow yet though, so no clue on that aspect.
Awesome thanks for the info. I think I'm set on getting the BBAT's, but I'm mentally debating if I want a 35 or a 37... I'm on 315 ko2s, and everyone says they run small. If a 35 is actually already bigger than the 315s by a good bit, I may not be able to clear a 37.

Strange on the weight I just got a set of 35s recently threw them on dirty life beadlocks and 3 tires under 2 oz and 1 tire at 4oz. Maybe j just got lucky the way I mounted them but I am fairly impressed personally.

I've seen 37s on a Metalcloak 2.5" lift. My guess is that a Metalcloak 2.5" lift provides about 3"- 3 1/2" of actual lift in the rear. Possibly slightly less in the front.

I have no issues with 37’s on my AEV 2.5 lift

I'm getting ready to put on my 2nd set of BB at's - 285/70 r17. With five tire rotations at every oil change, I've managed close to 70k all purpose miles on the set.
Ran them at 28/29 psi for the entire cycle on my 2 door and the wear is pretty darn even. Looks to be a little more on the outer edge, but I do tend to turn in aggressivly, and the ball joints had 110k miles on them when replaced a few weeks ago. The bottoms were quite sloppy, so that's probably a contributor as well.
There's about 1/32" left to the wear bars and they definately have more highway chatter then when new. But, they've never had a puncture and have taken all the abuse I could throw at them.
Replacing like for like is a easy choice.
