Well- this isnāt a rumor, Ford has introduced official warrantied tunes for $825. The 2.3 one adds 30 hp to 330, 60 lb ft to 385. The 3.0 one adds 50 hp to 455 and 105 lb ft to 536 lb ft. I havenāt seen the 2.7 numbers, but the ābeforeā numbers are 330 hp, 415 Lb ft. , expect proportional increases. Jeepās engine offerings ? especially on a 2 dr ? Oh yeah, a Final-Final edition V8 for 25.,,, If you can afford it. Sad - sales numbers you say ?How you know JL has already been around for a lonnnng time:
The dedicated forum for JL that started off with mature guys discussing the vehicle and brand with common sense and a technical aspect has today turned into a bunch of young whiney kids who consider a new infotainment screen and plastic grille design change to be a "new" model.
I don't know whether it's funny or sad. Actually I think it's sad. We're witnessing one of the greatest brands the U.S. auto market has ever known being run into the ground by a foreign owner who doesn't care about anything but an electric path forward, and you guys are defending them because hey, they did give us a new fabric material on the dash and a different screen! Woo! OHHH and the axle is a full floater, because you know, that's never been done in history and the axle in the JK and early JL was breaking all the time! OHHH and hey there's a factory winch now! Never mind that factory winches were in the Jeep factory catalog 30 years ago....
Sigh....
Rumors regarding the 2025 model, eh? Well if you want rumors, go ahead with this thread. I was only trying to post the facts. 2025 is going to be more of the same....just like we've seen over and over and over again from this company. Again, they'll repackage stuff we've seen forever and call it a "new" package, or recycle colors. If you want to wait for a 2025 maybe you will get a deal, since Jeep sales crashed another 19% so far this year.
