Lol that's mine, except I'm working on installing an electrical plug in the driver side footwell that's wired to the aux 1 button so that I can run it without opening the hood. Also just made my own 4 tire hose setup so all the tires can be drained/filled at the same time.

Have you had any overheating issues with this setup? I kept blowing fuses and the lead wires started to melt. I've since moved it out of the engine bay and underneath the passenger seat and have had no issues since.

I built my own mount behind the rear seat, it only sticks out past the plastic fender panel by about 3/4 of an inch, so I didn’t loose much cargo room and it is below the top of the tub rail so I can run a tonneau cover. Made out of molle panels I now have a place to mount my first aid kit, fire extinguisher and a few other odds and ends. I ran 4 gauge +/- to the back as well. all the electronics that run the compressor are all in one place along with +/- additional power connections all independently fused. I use a simple 6 foot rubber hose to fill tires with air chucks mounted under each front seat. Getting ready to set up my new 24 two door with a twin ARB air compressor under the drivers seat. I also just replaced my old viair in my JK with a twin ARB under the passenger seat.

i'd go with a single under the hood if someone can show me how/where they fit one. the behind-the-taillight option is interesting, but would be concerned about heat build-up while it's running in that confined a space.
need to look into the under-the-floor thing with the same concern, and look into how protected it would be from trail contamination.

we use the back for far too many things to mount anything back there; bikes, dogs, people, camping gear,.. and i also don't want anything hanging out in the breeze when it's topless.

putting it under the passenger seat seems like it might be my only option, even though i'm not enthusiastic about having it inside the passenger space while it's running, and i was hoping to use that space to mount a transceiver (as i did with a previous J**p).

thanks for all the help so far, all; good food for thought!

No room for a double. Maybe a single.
I'd recommend mounting the pump in the back either under the floor or by the rear rollbar or under the passenger seat. I personally am not a fan of the pump noise for passengers in the main cab area. With under the rear floor it is muffled quite a lot.

No so far so good. I have used it several times and no issues. I did rap all the wires in the high temp braided cable. I do run it with the hood up when I am airing up.

Under the pax seat hasn’t been an issue for me whether it be heat buildup or noise. When airing up I am outside chatting with others or eating a snack or having a beverage. I don’t think I have ever sat inside during the air up. Other things to do.

Epic Kraken system w/ARB twin under seat. Air all four at the same time.

I second the @EPIC Adventure Outfitters Epic Kraken. I love mine. The wiring harness it comes with alone makes it worth it, not to mention the great build quality. Going to order the pressure control kit sooner than later.

+1 for @EPIC Adventure Outfitters Kraken.
I just installed their latest – the newest version that works with the power seats on the 2024 Rubicon X (and i gusss the other trims that have it as an option?). I really wanted to do something under the hood, but the 4xe is just space constrained. The Kraken + ARB twin compressor is just incredibly elegant and clean.

I preordered this when it was announced a few weeks back and felt like Ralphie waiting for the Red Rider BB Gun when the package finally showed up…
