I forget the pins, but the plug kit comes with instructions. It looks like blade pin 1 and 4. So aux 12v and ground.
Holy shit that 7 pin connection for the Viair is an amazing idea. The cord for the alligator clips is too damn short for how tall my Jeep is and makes it a pain, this would be so much better. So did you just snip the clips off and solder the positive to the aux 12v and the negative to the ground? I’m decent at soldering but an idiot when it comes to electrical stuff. My brain for whatever reason has difficulty wrapping around it.

My specific plug had screw terminals in it, so no soldering. But yes, just snip the clips off.
This only works with the HD package or if you wired a 7 pin connector. My newer JL can’t use it, lol.

Nice to see several AAL setups. Installed the AAL rear cubby mount and remote bracket over a year ago now. Still working great. I have the first generation MASS platform but the MASS + will be here in next week. That way ill have hatches over the cubby. Currently have the main wiring and ARB twin fuses in the cubby as well. This is going to move however to the front battery. Rather have all fuses in one easy to access spot. Also redesigning the two toggle light switches for my overhead lighting setup onto a small box that will mount on the AAL remote bracket.

We have a few mounts that will work in the JL. Depending on what compressor you want to mount. Our Under the Front Seat mount and Rear Gate Mount will hold the ARB twin or Single as well as most of the ViAir compressors. ViAir has a new "Escapade" compressor with a built-in tank and works like the ARB twin. Take a look at the website and see what we have to offer!

I didn’t want an installed system in my Rubicon, need to take it in my truck, trailers, wife’s car etc. And I had a budget. I also don’t like putting that much into say a twin ARB (and I would really love to have one,..) because I will end up trading, and either get $0 return, or have to take it off and reinstall.

So, I got a Viair 300P for portable use, plugging into my vehicle battery. Then got a 110v for use around the house. Stayed within my budget and have the bases covered.

And the Viair bag has my ARB deflator, tire patch kit, rubber gloves, leather gloves, valve stems, valve cores, and the associated tools in it. Very good set up for me.

ARB single mounted with 813 Fabrication mount/air kit. Super easy using AUX 1 switch in the JL.

Jerremy at 813 sent me the mount to try, I was the first to try the mount with the 2.0T and it fit great. Top bolt of the compressor makes light contact with hood liner so I stuck a felt pad on the bolt for some cushion.

I had the ARB single in a LR Defender 90 for 23 years never failed, an ARB twin in my last Tacoma camper build, but this time I went back to the single. Not using it for tools and not planning on tires larger than 33-35.

ARB and made my own 4 wheel chuck setup. Video on YouTube how to do it. If you use 3/8 line you get more flow and faster fills.
Do you have a link to your video?

ARB twin mounted under passenger seat with Innovative AT mount and 4-way inflation hose. I love it. ARB twin is probably the most expensive of the onboard compressors but it’s good and it’s fast. I preferred under seat to rear cargo or under hood solutions. Controlled by AUX switch.
Tell us more about the Innovative AT underseat mount for the ARB double, and photos please.

I like that the air chuck is right there at the bottom of the seat frame. Easy to get to. Where is the toggle on-and-off switch to run the compressors? I'd wire it to the Aux switch, but where does the ARM toggle on/off switch go?

I see the Innovative AT shown below says it's compatible with the 2door and says "does not interfere or limit any of the seat movement."

https://rebeloffroad.com/innovative-products-arb-twin-compressor-4-tire-air-system-for-jeep-jl-jt/

Does it interfere when you fold the (2door) passenger seat all the way forward for someone to get in back? My back seat is out, stored in the garage 95% of the time, but when it's in there it's needed.

I have stock size 33” KO2’s on my Rubicon. Depending on how far I have aired down, to get the Viair out, set up, and aired up from say 20 to 30 psi, then broken down and put away and drive off, takes maybe 8-10 minutes at most.

The 110volt I haven’t used on the Jeep, so I can’t answer. I really like my two units, recommend both.

If you have the tow package I highly recommend this mod for the 300P. I forget which forum member told me about it but it works so much better than those alligator clips. Just leave enough of a pigtail on them when you cut them off in case you want to reinstall. What I like about this mod is you don’t have to pop the hood, and, if your Jeep is lifted the cord length on the 300P is barely enough to set it on the ground. This was problematic for me when I had to help a friend air up after his compressor took a dump. Now that it hooks up to the trailer plug I have a lot more cord length to work with in certain situations.
