I’m ordering one today so let us know how it goes lol
So far bad news. Got one with part #P7EV04DX9AA. If you connect it without changing programming, all the buttons except everything climate related works. Climate shows as Climate Off on the screen and you cant turn it on. With OBD JScan tried changing to different modes. So in MTC modes climate does not work. With dual or single zone ATC most of the climate buttons start working, but you cant change temperature or blower speed. In last mode SNA ( have no idea what it means) everything works on a screen, but blower does not blow :( So looks like for it this center stack to work, we need new mode, some sort of combination of ATC and MTC

So best bet is to just get one that has the dual buttons but leave it in sync mode? That’s a shame since I have it shipping now. I should’ve waited but was hopeful it would work. What setting is the stock hvac to get it working after trying all that?

Does anyone know the part number of the dual zone hvac stack? Cause if anything we can just set it to that and get it working.

Single zone MTC. I’m still hopeful. Basically everything forks, but not in the same mode. There should be a way to combine everything in the same programming mode.

What’s the sun sensor for? My jeeps not wired for the cabin sensor so I’m banking on the hope of using the right setting for that center stack to work.
95% of the jls are wired for the sun and cabin sensor
you dont have the plug behind the panel ?
i had all the wires there :)

Just did the 5” to 7” swap. Smooth as butter… but… none of my HVAC controls work.
Anyone have advice? Do i need the cabin air sensor and Tazer to program it?

With that control you will need to change the settings to dual zone ATC, if you don’t have the temp sensor and the sun sensor it won’t work.

The wifes jeep has the sun sensor up top, but i didnt get the cabin air temp. Ordering that tomorrow.
For the settings to dual zone ATC is that done on Jscan,Tazer, or can I use my laptop and an ODB cord?

You should need to change anything. Set it to singe zone ATC and give it 24 hours

You need a bypass and JScan or tazer

u can also use jscan to turn the controls on or if purchsed from infotainment they send you a programmer which does it all for you , easy peasy

jscan u need the app - the security cable -- purchase on amazon - and a jscan vin purchase
open jscan
goto adaptation
then miscallaneous
then hvac configuration
select dual zone atc
save 2 times should work right away

That’s not a dual zone stack. Set it to single zone and save it in JScan. Leave it go for a few sleep cycles (1 hour- over night)
