Update

It's the system problem. China special one without android auto.
Is it possible to have a system firmware from anyone?

Thanks.

Hi everyone,

I'm a newbie asking for help.
Asked a friend to buy a 7 inch infotainment system from China. Because it's quite cheap there.
Quoted by the seller, it's for 2021 Wrangler Sahara and made in 2018.
But only Carplay is working.

Mostly, when connect to an Android, phone is showing charging, not charging, and then jump to Android auto is ready to use.
During this time, Uconnect will reboot and with clock jump back to 12:00. I assume it's reset.
After rebooting, phone is showing android is ready, but no icon at Uconnect app page.
Tried different cable, and wireless adapter, all same issue.

Originally there's an app called Carlife in the App page. Seller said can use that one to connect android.
But after connecting to the car and started engine, the app disappeared. Maybe detected the cars location?
My guess is that China can't use google, so the ucnnect doesn't have license for Android Auto?
Is there any way can maybe flash the Uconnect so it's capable to connect Android Auto?

Many thanks~~~~
