UConnect, android auto red border

anybody know why there's a red border around the outside of the screen whenever Android auto is connected to the factory radio? any way to get rid of it?
(only there when connected to Android auto whether wired or wireless)

I know this isn't specific to my Wrangler, my ram did that as well. forum search for uconnect red bored had no results

Well, at least 4 phones. all Samsung/Android, and 2 vehicles(2020 Wrangler&2021 Ram 1500) have done this.

I think it's Uconnect but there are no issues with either vehicle either.

Anyone use iPhones on CarPlay?

I'm thinking it's just an indication that the vehicle head unit is being controlled by a non-vehicle device.
