3.5 mid arm game changer review?

Anyone here have the mid arm game changer?
How do you like it? Do you wish you went with long arm instead?

With I could find videos on offroad reviews, but it's either an install video, or the long arm.

I went with the rock sport (I think that's the name) shocks and not the 6 pack.

It's not a diesel, but I put a GC 3.5 on my wife's JLUR. Like yours I chose the Roscksport version. We just did a nearly 4k mile trip from Tennessee to Moab over spring break. Not at all fatiguing or rough riding. We live about 20 minutes from the Windrock Off Road park and wheel there often. Plenty of articulation without feeling loose or getting too far out of shape when on the highway. I personally have no regrets. I spoke with the owner of one of the local off road shops here in Knoxville and he felt that for most people the added expense of the long arm install isn't worth for the normal rig.

Good to know that the ride isn't fatiguing, some say that it is, some say it isn't. We will see.
My work commute is 2 hours 1 way, 2 hours back.

I've got the 3.5" GC with Rocksport shocks, DB3 drop brackets and their front driveshaft, in my 2023 4xe Rubicon. Only have 1000 miles on it so far, but the experience has been great. Drives and feels similar to stock. Plenty of room for my 37's now. I had it installed by their own shop up in Norcal - Cloakworks. Overall highly recommend, it's a great quality suspension. I'm considering changing out the rear springs for their 4.5" version to bring the rear up since I usually have it loaded with a ton of weight.

Ah nice! I have 37s on it now without a lift. Almost thinking I could of went with a 2.5".
I got my boxes today, but confused, it says 4.5".. Hopefully they sent the right one.

The label indicates If the shocks were installed on a 2 door, they'd be 4.5. on a 4 door, they provide 3.5 inches of lift, and on a JT 2.5"

Ahhh... good eye. I was confused haha!
Still, many tell me to expect more than 3.5"
Lot of em said they got 3.5" from their 2.5" game changer.
I'll do a before and after measurement on all 4 corners.

with my 4xe kit, MC did a great job of including the proper coils & isolators to level it out nicely.

I'm really happy with my 3.5 GC, although I went with bilstein 5160's instead of the rocksports, and I installed drop brackets front & rear.

Have a look at the first sticky post on this subforum, there is a wonderful spreadsheet that lists most shocks available. Line 37 is the 5160s with 3-4.5" lift, and line 46 is the rocksports.

The Bilsteins provide similar travel but I think are better quality, prettier, and more expensive. The rocksports are made in China and some have reported failures after as little as a year. However it's easy for you to upgrade them later.

I think it’s the best bang for the buck for bringing out the rock crawling capabilities. The Rocksport shocks do great on the rocks but if they get heated up on washboard roads or highways they get scary quick.
