Do they match up well with MC 3.5 springs? What differences did you notice switching from rocksports? Do you keep mc shock brackets or remove them with fox 2.5s

If you’re wanting some 2.5s they are a few months out to the guys at accutune but that’s where I’d suggest you getting them from. They can valve them perfectly to match different coils to maximize the ride.

I purchased the factory Shocks directly as they come from Fox and I wasn't sure how they would match up with the MC Springs. However, with the adjusters I have been able to dial them in and they are virtually night and day from the RockSports. I can bomb down the trails now at speeds that just weren't possible before. (No more bucking and bouncing)

I am impressed. I'm actually now more concerned with upgrading my steering components exc. since the Jeep is capable of substantially faster speeds offroad. I don't think there is much difference on road since the Rocksports performed well in that regard.

I'm sure there is value to having a custom valve job done but at this point I'm very happy with the purchase. With the cost of these monsters I could barely justify the price as is.

Almost forgot. I tried installing the shocks without the MC brackets but the passenger side shock would contact the frame at full droop so I had to reinstall them.

I believe they have less travel but total extension is the same. Rocksport fully compressed is 17.7, Fox 2.5 is 18.43. Travel for fox 2.5 is 11.87 vs 12.3 for the Rocksport.

PuckN19 is correct. Drop-out is similar but slightly less up-travel. With my 37s the bumpstops are still the limiting factor (but it's close in the front) and I only plan on going with larger tires if anything.
