Thanks. I agree.

You can achieve a similar look with your stock Sahara wheels, 275/70R18 tires, and a $50 3/4-inch leveling kit.

That tire measures 33.2x10.8 inches.

If I had a magic wand, I’d go back to that setup!
I've got 275/65R18 on mine, mainly because the 70 profile would have been a bump in price and they were a stimulus check splurge... lol. better grip than the factory 255 Goodyears.

So I assume the mob made his death painful but swift?
No, his buddy was armed lol. Forgot that detail. His buddy that was with him and winched him out was running around with a Glock just stuffed in the waistband of his pants like half concealed. Drives me nuts when people don't use a proper holster. I will also stand by this - it's always Glock people lmao. To be clear, not all Glock people are asshats, but asshats who make poor decisions with pistols usually come out of the Glock crowd and give the rest of them a bad name.

I suddenly feel attacked...

But at the same time I can totally see a Glock Bro doing that.
Right? My estimation is that like 95+% of Glockers are normal folks. But, since they're so popular, they attract a bigger portion of Bro crowd that then associate their asshattery with that community. They're the juggalos of any community they're engaged with.

“If you don't actually go off road then you shouldn't buy a Wrangler. There are so many other vehicles that are better suited for driving around to the paved places. And it's all these people who shouldn't have bought a Wrangler that keep asking for it to be changed into the same thing as all the other SUVs out there.”

Unless you bought a Jeep to replace a 2010 Raptor, and have a requirement for a very robust vehicle to navigate the many types of roads: freeways, poor asphalt on mountain roads, bridges, dirt roads, Lombard Street in San Francisco, treacherous cliff roads such as Big Sur or Mt. Hamilton or Mt. Tamalpais. Uneven very steep driveways that keep bottoming the vehicle out. Yes, those conditions could be satisfied with another Raptor or perhaps a Forerunner but want a small turning radius and are inclined to perhaps do more so a Jeep is appropriate without off-road in the equation.
I knew that it would upset someone. Everything you just described could easily be handled by a Subaru.

Well hey at least we don’t have chronic head gasket problems…..as I sit here looking at the cast iron steering box sitting in my living room.

I think that this still maybe one of the most sold colors. But in this Forum, it does not seem to be very popular. Here we go: Both of our Wranglers are Black in color…

^^^ this!

Jeep ought to offer a boxy crossover vehicle for those who want a Wrangler just for the looks.

On second thoughts, never mind. Jeep built it and it turned out a POS...

Turns out, a box without the capability of solid axles, the interior room limitations of body-and-frame construction, the road hugging weight, and the shitty MPG...is just a box...
Owned a 2019 for the last three years. Had the 1.3T motor in it. It would crawl around pretty darn well. 1.5" Eibach springs, stronger carrier bearing skid, rear diff skid, and AT3W tires. Total cat in the snow, got 25.3 MPG for the whole time we had it, and took us pretty much where we pointed it offroad. It was NOT a rock crawler. The power transfer software was solid, and it would crawl around in some pretty rough stuff with a wheel in the air.

I've driven several 2.4's, and the 1.3T was a WAY better match for the vehicle than the 2.4 ever was. Plenty of torque from idle on up for the chassis. Wasn't a rocket ship, but it was a 2000-3000 RPM motor offroad instead of the 4K+ 2.4. 177HP out of that little motor was pretty solid driving. We only used premium fuel though.

The transmission now, whole 'nother story. Really, REALLY didn't like the transmission. That's the reason we traded it in, still had a little warranty left so they could certify it, and it only cost us $1500 to own it for three years at the trade. That helped us with the Wrangler purchase, and it carried us around for 53,000 miles in three years.

But I wouldn't buy another one with that stupid transverse transmission. Actually, I wouldn't really want one outside of an extended warranty.

There is nothing wrong with the auto stop (in my '21 anyway) as designed and it only takes a little bit of driving to get used to it.

Batteries are still shit though and that's the bigger issue people have problems with.

Let's be honest though, I know where that is, and I 100% know there are people at that light with you that are upset to be stopped for 2 whole minutes too lmao
