Anyone know how long the rear shocks can be before having driveshaft issues at full drop? I can find the info on the front but nothing on the rear. Doubt it makes a difference but I have a 2021 Rubicon Xtreme Recon.

I'm coming from a heavily modified TJ on tons and the JK world lol.

You'll run out of length on brake cables, rear sway bar links, etc before you get to drive shaft bind.
Thats kinda what I figured. The shocks I'm looking at are the same length compressed but 3.5" longer extended. I think the ebrake cable is going to be my limiting factor, and possibly the brake lines.

My rear shocks extend 33.25” and I’m still using factory DS and no issues. It comes close to the gas tank but doesn’t contact it.
No issues with brake lines or E brake cables……it’s not coil over numbers but not bad for coils and springs, on a 3.5” lift.

That reminds me. I haven't got myself on a ramp since the 4in lift and Falcon SP2 3.1 shock install. LOL

The most issue I've had is springs unseating.. one day I'll see them seated and the next they're unseated and turned 180 degs ?

As long as I just droop one side, the springs are tight AF. But when I put it on the lift and both sides droop, then my springs fall out, lol. I’m in the process of putting a single limit strap on top of the truss in the middle, that way I can still keep all the articulation but if I get airborne then my springs won’t fall out….?

My shocks have limiting bumps.. any modern off road shock will have a bottom built in

I find it funny when people say "you shouldn't use your shocks as a limiting factor" yet that's exactly what the factory shocks do.
