22 wrangler order date, vin and actual deliveries.

4XE ordered 12/14, was built & passed inspection on 1/25, and stuck in JB status (’waiting for additional parts installed’) since.

I’m contacting JC every day, and got it down to a science now… just wish I knew which part was taking so long!

I have a similar timeline (built 1/27, sent to body vendor JB and still stuck there) as well. However, Inspection then shipping release comes after JB is complete. So Jeep considers our vehicles "initially built" but not complete yet. JC told me to expect 14 days or so at the body vendor, and I have a proposed 3/3 arrival date at the dealer per Jeep Customer Care email. As of now, nothing moving.....

Yeah. Escalation doesn’t do any good as far as I can tell. All I have received for my orders is an generic email that they have prioritized the vehicle and don’t have any updates. If there are any updates they will email me.
I don’t need updates, I need my vehicle out of the shipping phase purgatory.

oh yeah, I got my VIN one day after I placed my order. My dealer told me at least 12 weeks. 1 down, 11 more to go (hopefully)

Based on your signature, the options that we both ordered:

1. 4XE
2. Trail Camera
3. Tow Package
4. Cold Weather Package
5. OWL tires

My money is on the Trail Camera being the thing that is taking the extra time here. Hopefully they actually have the parts...

Anyone else here order a trail camera? If so, how long did your Jeep stay in JB?

Contacted JC yesterday for my weekly status update and I got the “parts are being scheduled to be gathered” lol, so I don’t know if that’s even D or not… but this morning (2 weeks to the day of ordering) I got the Jeep Wave welcome email with the VIN (not the delivery ETA email).

I was joking when I said this.

The way things are going lately I wouldn’t be surprised if they start taking parts off my October order so they can build and rush out the January orders.

Then I got this response from Jeep Chat.

I thought for a minute maybe they actually did take parts off mine to prioritize the January orders. I think at this point they know the October people are already pissed off. So they prioritize the new orders to keep from pissing them off. The October people can only get so mad so screw 'em.
