My build priority was 99 and went to 01 when I was assigned a VIN.

Woohoo! They said in this stage they are sourcing/ assembling the parts to build the car and will normally be built within 30 days. Man I’m like a kid waiting for this thing!

Mine says October production too - hopefully the tracking system will be up and running soon so we can see what's going on.

I just checked in with my dealer and VIN has been assigned along with "D" status! Woo hoo!

FWIW, I also have the dual top group. Time will tell!

I am not too worried about dual top group. I find it hard to believe that one item is going to hold back all these orders. Just someone speculating like everything else.

Hey taphat thing is Beautiful... 3 wide front seating like the McLaren F1, and it was featured on Top Gear and very customizable.

The dual top group should not be a problem, with the 90 day hold. They just build the Jeep with the hard top, then when the soft top arrives later, stuff it in the back. Then, do the extra quality checks, then in mid/late January, load that sucker on a truck or train and get it out to your dealership!

I’ve seen the 90 day hold talk keep coming up, to me it seems like they are building in November to have them ready shortly after the release. Nobody’s order has been built yet so we are looking at the end of February by the time it is delivered, if this is true, which just doesn’t add up.

I ordered mine last Friday and received my VIN today.....and it's an Ocean Blue one.

When I spoke with my dealer last week, he said the timeline was drastically shortening. One that he had ordered 11 days before was already on the truck.
