Per the other threads on this topic, they can't add it after the fact. Never say never, but that's what they said.
Well then they can furnish me one where it’s equipped! It will be fun. I will

I am going after Jeep on this. It states Keyless Enter n’ Go as standard equipment so they are going to make it right and put it in.
Good luck with that. You should of did a little more homework. Proximity Entry is what you were looking for, the feature that allows you to enter your Jeep with the touch of the handle. NEVER, EVER, rely on the knowledge of a car salesman for your specific needs. You do indeed have keyless enter and go. You don't need a key to enter and you don't need a key to start it up and go. Sorry man, its clearly stated what you have. You just got too excited and ran with what you thought you had. Didn't you test it before you bought it, if indeed you thought you were getting what you thought you were getting?

I relied on the Window Sticker which is part of the contract that I signed stating what comes on the vehicle. Keyless enter n’ go includes proximity entry hence Keyless. I do need a Key to enter therefore it is not Keyless.

Here is the research I did, this is directly from Jeep,
Keyless Enter ‘n Go lets you:

  • Lock or unlock the doors and swing gate
  • Start or shut down the engine without ever touching your key fob
  • As long as the fob can be detected by the vehicle
To lock or unlock the vehicle:

  • The key fob must be on your person, within 5 feet (1.5 m) of the handle in use
  • The sensors are located inside the door and swing gate handle
  • Grab a door handle and the door will unlock
To lock all the doors:

  • Push either of the Lock buttons located on the outside of the front door handles. (Don’t activate the unlock sensor inside the handle or you might accidentally unlock the door)

You're wrong, no new Jeep JL, even the basic one with zero options, needs a key to enter the Jeep. If you need a key to unlock your Jeep, you don't have a JL.

The wording threw me off my first too. The catch is that if you can push a button on the key fob to open the door and get in and push a button to start the motor, then it is in fact keyless.

I have the fob in my pocket and I grab the handle and it doesn’t open plus there is no button on the handle to lock the doors.

Do you have a US model?

Do you have power locks/power windows on your Sport?

That's because you don't have Proximity Entry, an added feature that does what your saying you want it to do. It costs extra. I understand your dilemma, you misunderstood their play on words. Someone else on a different thread stated that indeed, keyless entry and go was in fact what you think it is, but on other vehicles. That's what it was called before. Not the Jeep JL. It's now called Proximity Entry. Sorry man, you don't have what you think you have. Like I said before, you should have tested it before you bought it, then you would have realized you didn't have it.

Sorry but this is not correct. The base model JL Sport does not include power locks. You need to use the flip out key to unlock the doors.

Correct, you don’t have the proximity option which includes the exterior lock button. How many times do people have to tell you that.

Regarding FCA deceiving you, so you are entering the Jeep by pressing the unlock button on the fob, getting in the Jeep and pushing the button to start. Keyless enter and go. What is misleading about that. It’s the correct description of the feature.

Bottom line, you did not do your homework on the options and are now trying to blame someone else.

OK.
I was going off the website that states that the basic Jeep Sport comes with keyless enter and go. I assumed that meant that you use the remote to unlock it, not a key. I personally test vehicles for options I want before I buy, but in this case I ordered my JLUR. Thanks for the info

First, I don’t have an unlock button on my phone plus I received this from Jeep which clearly states the proximity entry is part of the Keyless Enter n’ go, hence the name,

This is what my build sheet shows.
Remote Keyless Entry,
Sentry Key Theft Deterrent System,
Keyless Go. It' not worded like it should be. I thought the Same thing at first. Because my Laramie and citadel have it. On this JL they call it remote proximity keyless enter. I knew mine didn't have it as soon as i looked at the door handles. No push button on them.
