Resonance at 82-85 MPH

Hey all,

I am getting a sound/small vibration at 82-85 mph. I usually never go over 75 so this isn't something I normally would notice. It only does it at those speeds. Not below, not above. I have a stock jlu sport with 8k miles. I am not sure if it's an issue or something to be concerned about down the line. I do have the 125k mile 8yr bumper to bumper warranty, so if something breaks I'm hoping it will happen while under that. Lol

Any thoughts on this?

You can tell the dealer but I’m sure they will shrug it off. Though with that insane warranty, I wouldn’t worry about it.

Yeah I never go that fast. I did it on accident lol I stick to no higher 78 on the highway.

I do get an exhaust droning sound around 2k but that's expected. It does sound like it's coming more from the front that the rear.

That might help you get under 10 sec 0-60 but it won’t help with the squeaks and rattles.

I rented a JT with a soft top. Around 75 and above the top would start to flutter causing an awful thrum inside the cab.

My 2 dr JK I had did that at certain speeds. There are ways to quiet them a bit, but honestly tire and top noise don't bother me. I only care that the thing is mechanically sound lol
