just for good measure, check the torque on your lug nuts.
I will definitely look at that. I’m going to spend some time Saturday looking a few things over. I’m really hoping I can figure out what the heck is going on because this is starting to drive me crazy.

Did they eliminate FAD on all models? Could it be the front driveshaft?

Do you have the Dana 44 LSD rear option? There is an issue with those failing super early and causing a knocking or rumble noise when coasting and the second you give it gas or hit the brake it would go away. Most talk about a knocking occurring at 10-20mph though.

Don't take the Jeep dealers word for anything. They said the knocking for me was my tires but swapped the busted LSD for a locker and the noise 'from my tires' magically went away.
Agree. This sounds like a defective differential, most likely rear. At 500 miles I'd drive it a bit more before taking it in. If it's still there in another 500 go ahead and make an appointment.

yes, it could be but I took it up to 85 the other day and it’s smooth as butter and there’s no whining or other noises coming from the rear end that I can tell so it’s making believe it’s not the differential. I coasted down from 85 to 60 and as soon as I hit 60 theo vibration kicked in and as soon as I hit 50 it went away. It’s like a 12 inch subwoofer resonating a very low frequency sound. You can feel it coming up through the floor and the middle console shakes. Of course, this is all normal according to the dealership that I took it to. Ridiculous.

Under warranty, but you can try to isolate things by removing front or rear drive shafts, seeing if the vibration goes away, rebalancing tires, etc.

Had this problem on a car once. Turned out one of the front CV axles was worn out.

That becomes challenging when it's from the rear and only happens between 50 and 60 MPH.

wow, that’s a lot of pages. However, I read through a lot of it and this does not seem like the same issue. From what I read, a lot of people stated it went away when they let off the gas or stopped accelerating. Mine is actually the opposite. They also described it as a thrumming or pulsating sound and the sound that I have does not appear to be that.

There's drivetrain slop somewhere if it only happens during deceleration

yes, that’s what I’m thinking. I have a feeling it’s one of the driveshafts causing the issue. I had a very similar issue with another car a few years ago and the driveshaft was bad. I’m actually really hoping that is the problem because that is a relatively easy fix.
