If the update comes available, great. If it doesn't, definitely not going to lose sleep over it. The ORP won't change my life in any measureable way. Matter of fact, I didn't even know about the ORP's until I saw some of these threads. For me, it's a very LOW priority. But to each their own. These type of things happen with first run vehicles. They can beta test them all they want, but until they hit the real world under mass production, you won't find all of the gremlins. If the gremlins are going to drive you nuts, then best to wait for the others to bring them to light while enjoying the breeze in their hair....or lack there of for some of us! LOL

I'm going to enjoy my new Jeep. Whether it has the ORP or not. I don't miss them. Best Jeep ever made. I hope not having the ORP doesn't keep you from enjoying the ride.

But don't you think it's a bit greedy to accept delivery of a feature you paid for? Isn't that like wanting a "pay out"?

"bit greedy to accept delivery of a feature you paid for?" Not sure I understand this comment. Are you saying that Jeep is being greedy? I didn't make my decision to purchase based on the options and I wanted to bigger screen and Alpine stereo as an option...mainly because the new tech is fun. ORP's isn't even a consideration in the options I chose.

If some of the features you did consider when choosing your options were disabled a couple weeks after taking delivery of your vehicle, would you then consider joining a class action suit? Would you be one of those unwashed masses just wanting a "pay out" then?

I clarified this in my initial statement.

Clarifications come after initial statements. It's not possible to clarify something in an initial statement.
Funny....Enjoy your day and your Jeep. Can't wait for mine to arrive.

You're not going to answer my questions? Here they are again:

1. If some of the features you did consider when choosing your options were disabled a couple weeks after taking delivery of your vehicle, would you then consider joining a class action suit?

2. Would you be one of those unwashed masses just wanting a "pay out" then?

I would like to see where people paid extra for ORPs.

This is what you paid extra for, ORPs is simply an app that was pulled why, no one is sure of. The Alpine upgrade alone is $1300, larger screen, navigation, etc.

There is no monetary value for an App being pulled that you didn’t pay a specific premium for.

I'm not sure how to respond to something so utterly, stupendously stupid.

1. If it was disabled due to a potential safety concern from inexperienced owners using it to off road - nope, but since no one really knows why it was pulled then it is kind of hard to initiate a class action lawsuit.

2. Most that join large class action lawsuits are typically ill informed and expect big payouts and are shocked when they get little to nothing because the attorneys take most of it. Most class action lawsuits draw out for years with large corporations, to get resolutions quickly they are probably on the worst tool anyone can use.

I think this just goes to show that our Trailhawk is way more serious of an offroader than the Wrangler Rubicon...
