Not necessarily. They aren’t just for making your Jeep into a submarine, they are also good for Jeeps that run in dusty conditions, especially when following others. Turning the opening too the back really helps with that too

This and often you can run a pre filter for those dusty environments. I also like them for when water splashes over the hood, just a bit of peace of mind when entering water.

I want to know if that price is installed. I thought Bronco was doing something where you could order the accessories but it cost extra to have the dealer install it. I feel like this will be the same. I say $795 is too good to be true as an installed price.

I imagine it’s done at the same place that installs “factory“ Katzkin and door seals after it leaves the factory before being delivered to the dealer. So how ever those Mopar options are billed, this would probably be the same.

Nice, now one can take a $60k vehicle, and run it through water and mud. Heck..one could call it a wrangler boat..:(

So does this change the 30” of water fording from the factory? My guess is no, since there are other factors at play (diff & trans vent come to mind). Pass.

It’ll be like the CAI. No way Jeep is cutting your hood for you. It’ll come in a box and you’ll do the cutting/install yourself.
